It's difficult to say what is most appealing about the Barking Frog - the food, the wine, the atmosphere. All of the above earned this casual bistro featuring country fresh Northwest cuisine rave reviews. Honors have included "Restaurant of the Year", "Most Innovative Wine List" and "Wine Grand Award" awards, presented by the Washington Wine Commission. Delectable dishes entice guests to linger in the light-filled dining room or to gather around the fireplace. While in the summer, lunch and dinner are served in the courtyard.

Visit our sister restaurant, Fireside Lounge, take a more relaxed approach to you day with friends and fellow guests. Serving seasonal cocktails and casual bites. Daily happy hour from 3-5:30pm. Live music during the week.

    Beautiful Mothers Day! Our food was perfect…Christian was our waiter he could not have been anymore attentive. Thank you for making our experience a complete 10!

    Faith provided excellent service throughout our meal time as well as she was attentive, cheerful and friendly. Tyler (the manager?) stopped by our table after we enjoyed our meal to thank us for choosing them and wished as a great day. This place is a very welcoming and enjoyable place.

    Always exceptional. Creative and delightful food presentations and flavors. The smoked Foie Gras was delicious and well-presented under a glass dome filled with smoke. Oysters on the half shell and the house made mignonette were some of the best I have ever had; I could have eaten a dozen more! Hardly anyone does a good panzanella salad these days, but this one was the perfect amount of grilled bread, burrata, oil and seasoning. The lamb shank was enough for 2 pp, and very tasty. My only let down was the duck. They cure the meat then finish it off, but duck has such a heavy fatty skin, it needed to be seared off and rendered down quite a bit more. I love duck fat, but it was way to much in relation/proportion to the meat itself. I would recommend that if you have the spruce-inspired sauce, leave it to the guest to pour how much they want versus the whole pitcher. My plate was swimming pool of sauce and it over-powered everything else.

    One of our best experiences here!! Food was incredible. Husband’s birthday dinner. Foie gras served in mini smoking cloche was one of the 10 best things I have ever tasted!! Service and sommelier suggestions were top notch. Just fantastic!!

    Amazing. I dined with my foodie friends and they couldn't stop talking amount the quality of all the dishes. Considering how they dine all over the world... I was impressed with their "wow" impression. 😄. So so good. All of it.

    We went there for brunch on a Sunday for my birthday. It was an awesome brunch and Barking Frog is my Go To place for celebratory brunches. It comes with my highest recommendation.
