It can be hard to reserve a table but it’s well worth the effort!
Took almost an hour to get a burger and eggs Benedict delivered to our table. No real recognition from the waitress that there had been such a long delay, and no offer to help make up for it in some way. Been here numerous times, but never had this bad of an experience before.
The lunch was divine and the ganache was to die for! What a great experience for me, my sisters and Mom
Very average experience.. nothing great in the way of quality or interesting food for breakfast. Lunch or dinner might be better!
This is such a pretty setting. We had family visiting and brought them up to experience the food. The menu doesn't have a lot of choices but everything on it is very good and tastes homemade...even the hamburger buns. The fire going is always nice. Order the shrimp dish it is amazing.
Amazing service. Delicious food. I’m never let down while dining here!
The atmosphere is intimate with excellent wait staff (located across from Willows Lodge). The bone-in ribeye is juicy and full of flavor. The duck breast is also a great choice with the chef's recommendation of medium rare. Great location for a date night or small group get-together.
Good vegetarian food. I would like to see more options for vegetarian/vegan customers. Very attentive service. Nice ambience.
Food was well done with local fresh ingredients. Service was poor with our waitress missing in action most of the time. Another waitress actually cleared our table and returned our bill.
We love this place and it's so close to us. The service was a little slow on this occasion, but didn't disappoint!
This was our second time eating here. This time was far better, the noise level was good and I could actually hear my husband sitting across the table. The food is pretty expensive but for a splurge it is nice. Great service. It was my husbands birthday and they had a birthday card at the table when we got there and we received a birthday dessert , which we did have to pay for.
The food was phenomenal! We ordered the pear and beet salad, the clams and the duck. Highly recommend all 3. We came for our 1 year anniversary and were very pleased.
Dinner was outstanding! We began with oysters on the half shell. They were wonderful. Salty, tasty, and unbelievably fresh. We loved them so much we ordered a second helping!
For our entree we had the tenderloin steak. Perfectly cooked and it was so big that I couldn't eat all of it. Served with a combination of mashed new potatoes and yams. Unusual, and again, very good.
We topped off our dinner with three scoops of house-made ice cream and sorbet. Excellent, light, and went perfectly with the house coffee.
We used to come here all the time for weekend brunch and dinner. It seems like the service has gone down. Our main server was not very good at all. She kept forgetting things that my husband asked for and wasn’t very attentive. They weren’t busy, only 3 tables when we sat down. The food took very long to arrive. We saw the food sat at the warmer for a long time before our server brought them over. The supporting staff for drinks were much more attentive and observing. They were great. The food was good except for the non running york for the poached egg
Thanksgiving day dinner
Excellent restaurant. We have dined there many times. Our favorite meal is their breakfast. Excellent menu. Diverse choices.
Everything cooked order. I can’t say enough positive things! Give it a try, you won’t be sorry.
Our dinner was outstanding. We began with a dozen raw oysters which were excellent! Our main entree was tenderloin steak.
It was tender and cooked perfectly. Served with the steak was a blend of yams and new potatoes which were mashed. Also included was a portion of roasted vegetables.
Service was impeccable. We left full and happy vowing to return for breakfast!
Went here for an anniversary, and was not disappointed. Excellent service and an exquisite menu, come together in a wonderful atmosphere perfect for a business lunch to the most important memories.
Andie was awesome and presented a well paced meal.
This was our first visit but won’t be our last.
Our visit was a wonderful dining experience. Great food, service and ambiance. We were visiting with friends we hadn't seen in a year. We went for brunch. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. We stayed for almost two hours and never felt rushed. The food was superb. We will be back.
It was an enjoyable meal
Good food, good service, nice ambiance, expensive.
Terrific waitress who was very patient as we were catching up with good friends who we hadn’t seen for 15 years!
Food excellent as always and just a special place.
We had wonderful dinng experience at Barking Frog. The 4 of us had the 4-course tasting menu. The variety of different options for each course was fantastic and we all tried so many different dishes. Each course was fantastic. Our server, Andie was just outstanding. If you want fine dining with outstanding service, Barking Frog is a great choice.
We were celebrating a birthday. Our server, Meisha, was fantastic and gave us top notch service! We all had different dietary issues and she accommodated us with ease and also gave us suggestions.
Meisha was awesome!
We ordered the seafood cobb, which were delicious 😀
Barking Frog has excellent food and service. We typically go for breakfast. During the summer I would suggest making a reservation on weekends. Great NW flavors!
The server was outstanding. She clarified all my questions. She was fast and courteous. My fish was cold and she promptly took back and got me another one.
Dinner has been fabulous there. Sad to say breakfast disappointed. Flavorless crab Benedict and the potatoes tasted like dirt. The French toast was good but seems to have sat to long before coming to the table. Ordered the Bloody Mary that was supposed to have bacon, got no bacon even though the waitress said she’d bring it. Not what we had hoped for the ending of our anniversary weekend.
Never disappointed. Always fabulous. Love the flavors, presentation and service.
I was initially impressed just reading the lunch menu online and was really impressed at the Barking Frog with the quality, flavor and presentation of all of lunch selections. We shared the Creme Brulee and it was so delicious. I will come again!
The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and wine parings. They are always very friendly and on top of servicing the guests.
No wine in above choices?? Excellent list/ waitress allowed me to taste & offered 2nd choice - a drier white. I didn't know either. Menu even offered to do the wine/food pairing. Seated immediately. Great wait staff. Great menu choices..I loved the Brussel sprouts as well as the risotto.
Unfortunately there was a woman at the next table that talked non-stop.
I went to Barking Frog twice this week. The first time service and food were both great. The 2nd time waitress was not friendly and the appetizer dish was overcooked.
Tried it out during Seattle restaurant week and was blown away! Awesome food. We added an extra appetizer to share amongst the three of us, then tried each of the three different options for all 3 courses (so 10 items total shared family style) and all were absolutely gorgeous and perfectly executed. Looking forward to going back! ❤️
I have only eaten at the Barking Frog once before and both times the service a d food we fantastic.
On this latest visit, my girlfriends and I decided to try it out for Seattle's Restaurant Week. The 3 course dinner was tasty, fresh and complete comfort food on a freezing cold November evening. Our waitress was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely accommodating to our needs. Given it was SRW, the restaurant was fully booked but we never felt overlooked or rushed. It was a thoroughly delicious and enjoyable meal. We will definitely be returning soon! Many thanks to everyone front of house and in the kitchen, you made our night!
Great experience from the door to our table during Seattle Restaurant Week!
I ended up going during restaurant week and the food was nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend from a very particular/picky eater.
Went on a Monday evening. Restaurant was 3/4 full when we arrived around 6pm and by 6:30 it was full. Our server was outstanding (Rita?) food was good and ambiance was great.
We went here for a special occasion and the service, cuisine and atmosphere all came together to make it the type of evening that we had hoped for. The staff was attentive without hovering, responsive and helpful. The food was creative and delicious. The setting, nestled next to the Willows in the heart of the Woodinville wine area, was a welcome relief to the usual necessity of the hustle-bustle necessary for a top rate restaurant experience.
