It's difficult to say what is most appealing about the Barking Frog - the food, the wine, the atmosphere. All of the above earned this casual bistro featuring country fresh Northwest cuisine rave reviews. Honors have included "Restaurant of the Year", "Most Innovative Wine List" and "Wine Grand Award" awards, presented by the Washington Wine Commission. Delectable dishes entice guests to linger in the light-filled dining room or to gather around the fireplace. While in the summer, lunch and dinner are served in the courtyard.

Visit our sister restaurant, Fireside Lounge, take a more relaxed approach to you day with friends and fellow guests. Serving seasonal cocktails and casual bites. Daily happy hour from 3-5:30pm. Live music during the week.

    We have been before for brunch, and it was a great experience. We went again, hoping for the same experience. Our reservation was for 9:15, we were sat by 9:15 and had our order in within 10 minutes, for drinks and food. Drinks came within 7 minutes. Great. We waited for our food. And waited. At 10:22, we finally got our food. Scrambled eggs do not take nearly an hour, anywhere in the world. It was not the server, it was a problem in the kitchen. I do not expect to take brunch for almost 2 hours, unless it is meant to. This was not meant to. Others seated around the same time were leaving before we got our food. We normally tip 30%. This time it was 15%. We may or may not try again, as I am not sure this will happen again. Food is very good, if you can get it in a timely manner.

    Great experience - food was amazing & presentation creative! Service was attentive & friendly. Only complaint would be the tables are a little close together for a romantic dinner for 2 - feel like dining with the table next to you. Overall wonderful though!

    We have been celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary at various restaurants in the area but The Barking Frog treated us the best with a complimentary appetizer and customized dessert! Outstanding!

    We haven’t been to Barking Frog for a few years and I am glad we chose it to entertain our out of town guests. I have to mention that Khalil, our server, made the experience better in so many ways. His attention to detail, suggestions for our gluten-free guest, knowledge about every drink and food item, and comfort with engaging with us in conversation put us all at ease. I think we all wanted to try all his favorites because of his descriptions. Everyone loved the halibut, salmon, scallops, and wine. We will definitely come back.
