    gnocchi, granchio, funghi e tartufo, ravs, meatballs, calamari were all excellent. bone marrow was ok. cocktails were amazing. Service amazing. you’ll love it and come back.

    Staff is amazing! Food amazing! Loved it and will come back every time I’m visiting SD. Espresso Martini’s are legit.

    The food is outstanding. Creative takes on carpaccio using ahi. Carbonara with an egg yolk are two examples. The staff is amazing. She had Alexsy as our primary staff person withJohn supporting. Alexsy is attentive without hovering, energetic without being overwhelming, knowledgeable without patronizing. She was intelligent, energetic, and fun. It was loud and the manager turned the bass down upon our request. The energy is contagious.

    We went to Barbusa for my birthday and had a wonderful and memorable dining experience. The homemade pastas were amazing. My personal favorite was the squid ink pasta with octopus and spicy tomato sauce. The lamb chop lollipop appetizer was also delicious! There were three of them and three of us, so it worked well for our group. Service was prompt and attentive. Highly recommend you make a reservation. This place is busy. It is also quite noisy, but not too loud to have a conversation.

    My colleagues and I were in town for the HR conference and Barbusa was recommended by a relative of one of our group that lives locally. We loved everything about our experience from the vibe to the outstanding service to the absolutely delicious meal. Next time we’re back in town, we will make a point to go back. Thanks Michael and the Barbusa staff. Andiamo!

    We loved this place! The service was AMAZING our server was so friendly and knowledgeable it was lovely. The food was equally amazing. The gnocchi was life changing, the expresso martini was also amazing. It is loud but you can still have a conversation. We truly loved everything about our visit and will return when we are back in the area.
