My favorite restaurant in SanDiego, the food is ALWAYS delicious and the staff is friendly/goes above and beyond to give customers a great experience!

Great time overall, but slow on getting the check at the end when it got busier. Would definitely go back!

We went for Father's Day and brought two of our children who'd never been to Barbusa. We shared four different appetizers and each had an entree. There wasn't a crumb left on any of the plates. My son-in-law thought the chocolate profiteroles were the bomb and perhaps the best bite of the day. He was craving carbonara and loved his. My daughter chose the granchia as she would not order a fish pasta in Chicago where they live. Even the kids pizza for our 3-yr old grandson was devoured. Well done as always. Barbusa is our go-to-spot for introducing friends and family to the best of Little Italy.

The vibe, food, service and management is TOP NOTCH!!! One of the owners, PJ and our server Marcelo made my sister’s bachelorette party dinner a memorable and fun experience. We will definitely be back!!

Our server was terrible and barely gave us any attention. An hour after we ordered our food 3 out of 5 of us at the table were served. they waited to eat until everyone had their food which didn’t happen for another 20 more minutes. We got the manager involved but that didn’t speed up the food. He was apologetic and adjusted our bill. our server barely came over to check on us and not once apologized for the lack of service. He brought out a birthday dessert for one of our guests and lit the candle when 2 of the people in our party were in the restroom! never had this experience at Barbusa before - hopefully it’s a one-off because the food and ambience are excellent. It was too bad because it did color the overall experience as well as the birthday celebration
