I'd made a reservation for my birthday and when prompted I had selected a regular table and requested as quiet an area as possible, knowing that this restaurant has noisy and slightly quieter spaces, and knowing that the Stampede was about to begin. Sadly, when we arrived (a few minutes early for our reservation), not only were we left to wait while other guests without reservations were seated, but we were offered a stand-up spot in the noisiest part of the restaurant. We declined, and as we left the restaurant we saw at least three empty tables in a quiet area. Why offer guests the option if you don't intent to honour their selection? This was a disappointing experience, and I am reluctant to return to this restaurant as a result. Because we didn't actually eat here I cannot say what the food and other aspects of the place were. I hope other guests had a better experience than we did.

Came for my 26th bday with my husband & friends & we all loved the atmosphere! Our server was very sweet, brought out a candle on my tiramisu + a card signed by other staff. All pastas & steaks came out so yummy, some a little over cooked but still juicy and delicious! Drinks were tasty, I got a white sangria pitch & shared it with 3 friends, got 2 drinks each out of it! Safe to say we will be back!

It was Canada day so we anticipated it would be a bit busy, however the whole experience felt a bit chaotic. Upon arrival, the front desk gal was clearly stressed. We were seated at a table without adequate sun covering, my friend and I were forced to sit beside each other and within an arms length of the table beside us. The water was left on a tray in direct sunlight, with no ice, drinking warm water on a hot day was not great. It was also difficult getting in and out of the table because of how close we were seated to the other tables on the patio. Our server forgot about our drink order and seemed quite busy. We waited awhile to pay the bill. Service was slow but our server seemed to know the menu well and helped us with picking items. The food was DELICIOUS. But I did have a bad stomach ache for the night, likely due to the butter in the pasta.... still delicious though. And will still order it again. Lol. I probably won't return here on a holiday, or to their patio on a hot day.

We were seated in the mezzanine where the vibe is more relaxed and intimate. The restaurant was very busy but the host team were still very prompt in taking us to our table. We liked the family style menu where we were given a lot of options for the various courses and stages of dinner. The best part of our experience was our server, Björn, who was very knowledgeable about the menu and the different drinks to be paired with our choices. He timed each of our courses impeccably and ensured our table was cleared for each dish. He even took the time to recommend dishes based on our preferences and they were all spot on! It’s not typical to have such great service especially during peak hours but Björn really made our dinner the perfect experience for us. We highly recommend Barbarella for the food, ambiance, and mostly the service. Finally, the lemon brûlée was truly amazing.

Excellent ravioli and calabrese sausage pizza; roasted zucchini skin was a little too chewy, but tasty. A bit more expensive than we expected.

Great restaurant ambience. Service was good. Our server was courteous and helpful. The food lacked a bit though. The calamari seemed to have onion flavor. Almost as if some were onion rings. Pasta and chicken was decent but lacked a bit of flavor and wow factor. Overall a nice place to have drinks but would try something different from the menu to give it another try.

Our main server was very kind and attentive, but we had multiple other servers try to deliver us food incorrectly. Also I believe we had 2 different shift supervisors come by the table at multiple times to ask us if we needed anything. While not bad obviously, seemed a bit excessive.
