An upscale casual restaurant serving "Houston-Inspired" tasting menu. Located in Downtown Houston and helmed by Chef Christian Hernandez, whose career has taken him through some of the best restaurants from Houston, New York, and Mexico City. The gorgeous historic building boasts huge fifteen-foot ceilings with custom artwork from Austin-based artist Xander Rudd and local graffiti legend Daniel Anguilu.

    Loved it- bread, potatoes, prawns, snapper and pork collar is what we ordered and it was all outstanding. Service was fantastic, cocktails were good and the peach semifreddo dessert was a knock out. Would highly recommend, and we will be dining here again!

    Fantastic food. This is not ‘fusion’, just superb range of cuisine reflecting Houston’s renowned cultural diversity. Fantastic service. Very friendly and genuine and enthusiastic about the food.

    Great food, awesome service (maybe a little slow but probably our fault) but the restaurant was almost empty :( We came in around 6:30 and had the tasting menu and stayed until almost 10. The menu wasn't based around a cohesive theme outside of it being all other cuisines you can find around town. Amazing food and presentation from start to finish. We probably caused the long service time by forgetting to reserve the tasting menu on the reservation, but they accommodated us without question. The cocktails and mocktails were awesome and bartender and service was super friendly and fast. Some of the best things that stick out were the tuna toast, the duck, the pomegranate granita w/ pistachio ice cream (PB&J in a bowl) and the very unique peas and lemon curd desert. Nothing disappointed.

    The entire experience, from food to service to ambience, was top tier. I did the Riesling tasting menu, and while they didn’t have the planned selection of Rieslings due to supplier issues, the substitutions were some of my favorite sips of the evening. I will definitely be back!

    The chef's tasting menu and wine pairing was excellent! We loved every dish, loved the format, loved sitting at the tasting counter and getting great service, loved the whole vibe of the restaurant (great art and music). We even got to hear about some of the dishes from the chef and dessert chef themselves. They were also easily able to accommodate my shellfish allergy in the tasting, with perfect substitutions. Definitely recommend - upscale food and service levels in a very low-key cool place.

    What an incredible downtown gem! The food was wonderfully flavored and the presentation was elevated to enhance the overall experience. Our first time and we will be back soon with friends for dinner!

    Thorougly enjoyed the tasting menu. The dishes were delicious and inventive. We got the $75 pp wine pairing, and while we enjoyed the wines selected for each course, it seemed like it was more of a wine tasting than a pairing. The pours were between 1-2 oz at a time. Yes, we got another pour if the waiter happened to walk by and noticed our glasses were empty or we asked, but for most tasting menus with a wine pairing, we usually get a 4-6 oz pour at the start (except for the dessert course). The next time we go, we'll probably skip the wine pairing and order a bottle of wine.

    Some really creative food. The foie gras tarts, wagyu carpaccio and gulf prawns were all fantastic. Will absolutely be returning.
