This was or first time here. Great ambiance, great pictures and art on the walls. Our service Noir was excellent. Very friendly and quick to check on us for anything we needed, made great suggestions in regards to the menu and overall was fantastic. See had saw the Prime rib on the menu and both myself and the wife were extremely happy with the meal. The only down side were the Brussels sprouts, no flavor and the root ends were left on but other than that we really have no complaints. We are most certainly returning to experience other items on the menu.

Something different. Wisconsin based theme. Start you off with a relish tray with pimento cheese and flavored olives and jalapeños. Had the 16 oz prime rib. Very good. Side dishes are huge so can be shared for sure. Great place for a date or special occasion. Had a great time with friends.

Our first visit to Baraboo did not disappoint. We had the first seating of the evening, so it was very quiet to start and filled in by the time we left, but it wasn’t loud and crazy. Our server Sherry was a highlight of the evening. She was delightful and the right level of attentive. We started with a couple of different old fashioneds and the complimentary relish plate. The pimento cheese was tasty! We put in an order for the garlic cheese bread, which was not what we expected but was delicious. It turned out to be kind of like a Yorkshire pudding but with toasty cheese on the outside. We got soup instead of salad with our entrees, which was a $3 up-charge, although not listed in the menu and not disclosed to us. The clam chowder was very veggie-heavy, which I didn’t mind but might turn some off, and it was tepid at best; it would be great served hot. The French onion soup was good according to my husband. For mains, I had the blackened trout and he had the pork chop. Both were delicious; I especially loved the crab corn succotash with mine, although the tomatoes were unnecessary and a little too big to fit in with the dish, in my opinion. We couldn’t decide for dessert and so ended up with a crème brûlée AND a honeycrisp apple crumble. The crumble was excellent and served with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream from The STIL down the street. The star of the show was the crème brûlée though. We are picky about our crème brûlée and hadn’t had a decent one in a long time. Baraboo’s was so satisfying, we would’ve been happy with just that for dessert. We will be back to try more!

Great food and the drinks were also good. Service was so so, waiter messed up our order and completely got one person’s order wrong so she had to wait while the rest of us ate. Service started off strong and then the waiter was gone for long periods of time at the end. Overall the steaks were great and in the end it was a good dining experience.

We went to brunch for Father's Day. The menu items available on the buffet were excellent. From wagyu beef and polenta chili to brioche french toast with fresh made whipped cream and berries! We've had dinner there in the past and that was also excellent. The service and ambiance is great, and the bartenders do an amazing job with drinks. I highly recommend!

I wish I could rate things better, but this time at Baraboo just wasn’t good. We went for Father’s Day & were sat at a table that was right in the way of the buffet line to where everyone had to move out of the way for us to be to sit. We sat for over 15min before I got a hostess attention for someone to get us drinks. The waitress had said she had no idea our table was hers. The service was awful, she was swamped, forgot about our drinks, didn’t bring the kids kid cups, it was just a hot mess. The food, sadly was cold, not much to offer & refills were very slow. One of the platers of food had run out, the staff took the plater away with the serving soon, a new plater was brought out with no spoon to serve, I asked a passing by kitchen staff for a spoon & he came back 10min later saying he couldn’t find a serving spoon. Plates ran out & people had to stand & wait a good 5min for a plate. I was super bummed it was this way. We came on Easter & all was good, everything went well. Sadly Father’s Day just wasn’t done well.
