   Having grown up in Wisconsin in Supper Club era…this made me nostalgic! The food at Baraboo Supper Club was FAR better than anything I eaten at Wisconsin supper clubs! Far more ambience! Plus…in this Boise c.2025 version of a Midwest supper club, the adults were not drunk to the point of passing out, the kids were not running in a feral herd, and you could speak in hushed tones! If I could time travel back to Wisconsin c.1960, I’d scoop up the deceased oldsters, the general hardworking, heavy drinking populace and show them there was another way to BE! And, we’d learn that the word ‘dinner’ was the preferred way to refer to the third meal of the day! When my Wisconsin cousins come to visit…I’m bringing the whole herd to Baraboo Supper Club!

   I went to the Easter brunch and while it wasn’t my first time attending brunch here, it definitely wasn’t my favorite experience. Still giving five stars because I think this was just an off day. The general manager made a great first impression by greeting me at the table and immediately bringing coffee - super appreciated. Unfortunately, our actual server was MIA at first. We had already gotten our food and were almost done with our first plate before I had to flag someone down just to order mimosas. Service throughout was hit or miss. Every time she came by, she’d ask, “Is there anything else I can get you?” - which felt like she was hoping to wrap up with our table. I asked for a coffee that never came and had to remind her again later. The dining room wasn’t busy, and it’s a buffet, so it shouldn’t have been hard to stay on top of things. She did comp one of our meals without being asked, which I appreciated. But the biggest disappointment? The eggs Benedict. Usually, it’s one of the best things on the buffet - classic, reliable, and somehow always perfectly poached even in a warmer. But this time they swapped it out for some strange chopped olive version that was straight-up gross. It totally ruined my favorite part of the brunch. Buffets are not the time to get fancy - just stick with what people love.

   My family & I attended brunch for Easter Sunday & will definitely be back. We enjoyed the great food, great service & really enjoyed the ambiance. We had 2 young kiddos with us & the hostess & waitress really helped to keep them entertained & things prompt so we could enjoy as much as we could in toddler time ha ha. We can’t wait to come back for another weekend brunch!

   Overall a really nice place, service was great and ambiance is very comfortable. Great place for casual or business dining, menu is typical supper club fare they cover the basics with a focus on Wagyu steak. Unfortunately 3 out of our 4 steaks were over cooked, one had to be sent back and it took a while to return, three of us were done eating, they were very accommodating, removed the steak from the bill and offered dessert. Aside from the kitchen mishap, a very cool place, will definitely be back.

    Really nice restaurant from the lobby area which had very comfortable seating to the entire restaurant. Beautifully decorated and just the right lamp lighting which made for an attractive but casual atmosphere. Our waitress was great! Our dinners were well enjoyed and steaks were cooked right on. We all agreed that we would be back in the near future.
