   Our bad experience started the moment we walked in. Despite a confirmed reservation, they were not prepared to seat us. In fact, there was no one even at checkin desk. Eventually we asked a server for help. 15 min later they seated us. No menus were provided. Eventually a server asked for our order and then saw we had no menus. Our order was quickly placed and the appetizer did come out quickly. But this was the last of anything good. 1 hour went by and no food. Asking about it just resulted in the generic answer that it’s just 2 min away. After saying we are leaving and just want our check, someone began to listen. But there were bigger in kitchen beyond our table. You could see it on the servers faces. The staff was unsure when our food could actually be completed. Even the general manager “Mario” refused to come clean on the situation. In fact, he tried to avoid the situation completely and turned the other way when asked. Our food was good, but the service ruined the experience beyond believe. I highly recommend staying away from dining here. Staffing is a serious issue. Both kitchen and table. Bad sign for a restaurant. It’s on a downward spiral.

   Food was excellent but the service was nearly non existent. Perhaps they were short staffed that day? Not sure. We struggled to get the basics - water, salt and pepper, cream and sugar for coffees. By the time those items arrived after a few requests, the meal was winding down. Good ambience and live music during brunch was a nice touch.

   Service was bad. There was only one lady serving on Mother’s Day. She was overwhelmed. We had to wait way too long for our food (French toasts and scrambled eggs). They had no cappuccino. Regular coffee was not good.

   We couldn’t even walk in because the manager/older gentleman who was seating guests was so rude. He was so rude in fact that we actually left immediately. Customer service is clearly not their forte.

   My boyfriend and I were completely disappointed. We had made a reservation for 5:45pm. When we arrived we weren't greeted, about a minute or two into standing next to the bar, the gentlemen says "pick any seat" not even a "hello this evening!" We sit down, there was two other tables sitting. We sat for about 5-10 min until the ONE waitress comes over to take our drink order. Then she walked away. And about 5-6 more tables were sat within the next 10-15 min. Still our drinks never arrived. We looked around and the ONE waitress and the guy at the bar were taking everyone's drink orders and pouring drinks to people that arrived after us! Also noticed other tables were not paid attention to. We probably waited 10 more mins and decided to leave. We would have loved to try this place. But they need more employees! Very disappointed. Hopefully they'll be another time where we are up to try it, but for now, very disappointed!

   Only 1 waitress on a Friday evening. She was nice and did her best but looked very inexperienced. The table behind us got up and left before getting their food, after a very long wait. All drinks were empty for the whole restaurant and the girl didn’t even notice. She didn’t clean up empty tables, but just left all the dirty stuff on it (when we left there were 5 empty dirty tables around us for at least 30 mins) even though she was chatting or doing nothing at the bar. I ordered a shrimp scampi, it was with a red tomato sauce?! For us never again..

   The food was very good and good value, my observations are that even though the place was pretty quiet (probably due to Easter and Passover) the service was not at all good and this is the second time I have observed this here. Our server was friendly but inattentive. What I distinctly do NOT like in a restaurant is when the bus boys are sent out with the food and the server does NOT attend with them and this is what happens here. How do they know who ordered what. Additionally, not all the appetizer plates were cleared and we had to move them out of the way AND they reached across the table to place a plate, not good. What ever happened to clear from the right, serve from the left. Definitely room for improvement and good service make for a good experience and one which will keep me coming back. Bar Zepoli now 2 has strikes based on service for me - will they get a third try - I'm not sure.

   Dinner following a concert. The service was outstanding, the menu comprehensive, the food delicious, and the experience delightful!
