Bar Verde - Nordstrom Eaton Centre

Really, really good. Terrific food and drinks and a server who went the extra mile for us. Definitely a place to go back to.

I met a friend for brunch that I had not seen since precovid times. We had a booth by the window overlooking the Christmasy decorated mall. We agreed that everything was perfect, the ambiance, the food, and the service. We each had the traditional breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast and fruit. We thought that we could not have chosen a better place to reunite after such a long time. Our server was sweet. I am sorry that I cannot remember his name but he was patient and polite and efficient. Well done Bar Verde. We will be back soon.

Bar Verde is my favorite place to dine in when I am downtown, whether it be for lunch or dinner or even just an afternoon snack. You may be in a busy mall but it is quiet and relaxed in Bar Verde. Food is good as is the service while prices are reasonable.

Have eaten here several times over the past month. Service levels seems to decrease week over week. They seem to be understaffed. Takes forever for a food order to be taken. Food comes quickly and then the bill takes forever. If you order a order coffee/tea...also takes a long time to arrive and is just warm, not hot. Good food...but poor service.

Enjoyed the whole experience. This is a great location to dine before the theatre.

I always love Nordstrom restaurants, however, I feel that the quality of the food and service at Bar Verde has declined in the past year. I used to love Bar Verde. Now I would say that it's 'fine'.

Excellent experience. Menu had a wide range of choices and the three of us had no problem choosing different items, and all of us were very happy with our choice as the quality of the food was exceptional. Overall atmosphere was very pleasant and our server was just right attentive but did not hurry us. It was an 84th birthday lunch and just right

Always great to be able to carry a conversation here because noise level is quite quiet. But service dwindles when we decide to stay longer, I guess everyone wants you to dine and leave. We like it here and stay a bit more because of the ambience and it is quiet enough. Food is becoming predictable as we are almost always here but overall, this place is great. An escape from the chaos of this mall!

I have eaten here a few times and am always impressed by the level of service and the quality and variety of the menu choices. The view through the windows over the Eaton Centre shoppers and shops is uniquely interesting too.

Staff very attentive, had issues with paying with credit card ended up paying cash but they kept bringing new machines to try.

Always enjoy Bar Verde. It’s one of the few places in the core where you can meet and have a conversation without having the guests at the next table right beside you, so love the booths. The noise level is also good for conversation without shouting at each other. After we arrived the music was turned up but we asked our server Laura if it could be turned down a little and she got right on it...thanks Laura! Food is always excellent, fresh and tasty. I have been coming here since it opened and always my favourite place to bring friends. Thank you

I have been to Bar Verde many times and the food is always really good. We had theatre tickets this time and advised our waiter and she made sure that we were finished with more than enough time, which we really appreciated. I asked for window seats, because I like the view overlooking the bustle of the mall, and they did have one for us. All in all, a great visit.

I reserved and requested a window seat - the more you request the more restaurants tend to put you at their worst table - they stuck as at the very end near the Staff entrance to the kitchen or back door. It was quieter but really? Since we were at the back sever kept forgetting us. She took longer to come to us. This is the first time I am disappointed with the service here. I love Bar Verde for their food, service and it is quite a nice place in the middle of all the chaos of the Eaton Centre. But failed this one time when I had invited colleagues and it was their first time

Food has been good but my last 3 visits service was super slow. Took forever to get a bill. Once food is served, no one comes back to check in. Have had to chase down the bill the last 2 times. When it is lunch time, people like to get in and out quickly.

Fabulous service, excellent menu. Had the Steak Salad. Arguably the best salad dressing I have ever had on a steak salad. The server was attentive and the food came out of the kitchen in record time. Overall it was an excellent experience and definitely will be going back! .

I love the garden omelette here. Service is great.
