Noisy, hard to have a conversation. Limited Menu. Food was average and little to choose from if on a low cal/carb/no red meat diet. Nice place with view. Did not have our reservation for 4 so had to put us in the bar area. Cold, wore our jackets the entire time.

This is a nice place to have a quiet lunch inside the Omni La Costa. Our lunch was good and the portions large. Service was top notch too. Depending on where you sit it can feel like a classic bar lounge and like a resort with a view.

The waitress was nice and friendly but the dinner came and soup was cold, before anyone came back to bring me a spoon. Even after they took the soup back and heated it up, it was pretty gross also. The buffalo wings were very soggy and pretty gross. They brought us a bottle of wine but it was turned so we didn’t drink it. We ordered coffee and it took forever because she said she was making a new batch but it was really gross and watered down. We asked for sugar and it took about 10 minutes so the gross coffee was cold by the time we got it. The waitress took the soup off of the bill but forgot to take the turned wine off so we waited another 10 minutes or so for the revised bill and it made us late for our escape room. Overall yucky food and bad service. If someone asks for a spoon for soup you should probably just go get them one instead of attending to other tables before you come back. If someone orders coffee and needs sugar it should not take a total of a half hour to accomplish that. Spent over 100 dollars and left there hungry, sick to our stomachs and late even though we gave it an hour and a half time to eat.

A beautiful location overlooking a pool and golf course. I had the Ahi tuna and wife had the fish tacos. Both were excellent! The service was great. It was not crowded going on a Tuesday evening.

I never submit reviews, but this was kinda shocking. Salad was bad, like out of a bag from the grocery. Salad dressing preparation was circa 1993. “Flatbread” was not a flatbread. Tomato paste on uncooked pita with prosciutto cooked like it was bacon. Prosciutto is cured, not to be cooked. Pleasant setting though.

First visit. I was looking for Tapas and Small Plates for my husband and me to enjoy my birthday. My search turned up Bar Traza. No Tapas, no small plates. We enjoyed our seating location out on the deck overlooking the golf course, and also a lovely wedding going on in the level below us. I had a shrimp Caesar salad with Kale (might prefer a green that wasn't bitter) but it was nice enough, and a bottle of Angry Orchard cider which was all they had in Cider. Pretty mundane offering for a bar at a major resort. My husband had the fish tacos which he liked, along with a beer. Actually, I would have liked to celebrate my birthday somewhere else.

Salmon salad was delicious and plentiful. The arugula was fresh, the salmon was cooked to perfection and very moist. The dressing enhanced the flavors without being overwhelming. I would order this again & again.

Bar Traza better get it together!!! We visit Omni a lot since we live on the first green. But every time we go into Traza to eat something is wrong. Last night I ordered a veggie burger. I asked for cheese, letter, raw onion and my patty well done. I empathized no Mayo please. My veggie burger came out and the manager, Jessie brought it to our table. I could see caramelized onions hanging over. She offered to redo it but I said just bring me some raw onions. This manager use to be a bus boy. Now a manager… After 10 minutes my food was cold and my hubby was 1/2 done with his food. The manager never returned. 🙄 Then I noticed some white sauce running down the side of my burger… it was Mayo and a lot of it! Also there was pickles, tomatoes. Nothing I ordered. The waitress was really nice. She said she told them exactly how I ordered. I only ate a quarter of my burger. It wasn’t well done and at this point I was annoyed. This is the 5th time this has happened. The least you guys could’ve done was take it off my bill. Last time we were in there the hostess was rude. By the looks of your reviews on Yelp and other platforms something isn’t right. This is a five star resort but this place isn’t even close.

Great service and excellent food... as expected. Bar Traza is an attractive venue, whether you're seated inside or out, and the valet parking is no charge. We sat outdoors with a great view of much of La Costa Resort, the golf course, and pool. The staff was excellent, polite and fun and everyone enjoyed their meals. The lunch menu is not extensive, but it is well done and some of the dishes we ordered had an interesting flare. Just be careful ordering drinks as they are extremely weak and very expensive.

Easter Sunday. We walked up to the hostess stand and respectful asked if we could sit outside as they had an empty patio. We were told “absolutely not, those are for reservations only.” (For which we had) Place smelled of stale cigarettes covered up with perfume. Our server was a shaky mess, seemed like he had never served a table before. Awkward. Didn’t know how to pour a beer, disappeared after taking a drink order. Service was abysmal.

Very beautiful property and wonderful view of the course. Lovely place to have a rememberable occasion. The food was delicious except for the Shrimp Caesar. I love salads and I can eat salads without dressing but this did not do it for me. The black kale was so overpowering and all the other tastes paled in comparison. This is coming from a person who loves kale. All the others were delicious however, the salmon, mussels, halibut, and Ahi. We finished everything from the table except the Caesar. We enjoyed our stay and the spa was the cherry on top.
