   I never write reviews, but I have to just write out the comical experience we had. Our server had an injury which didn't allow for him to open our cremant. THREE staff members- the manager, hostess (understand this), and another server did not know how to open a bottle of bubbles. Finally the bartender was back and came to open it. 2nd- we ordered the bread service and when I asked the manager for a butter knife, he didn't come back for quite some time and then when he did it was to inform me they didn't. I gathered as much by that point. 3- they are a French restaurant that doesn't serve paté and apparently used to have a cheese selection, but people didn't like the "stinky" cheeses. 4- when our oysters arrived, we asked the server who brought them where they were from. I quote, "I think they are from Massachusetts or the west coast." I CANNOT make this up. They also served a gravy boat of migionette. 5- I won't even start on lack of French wines in the wine list in the French restaurant. Cute space. Super bummer. Our server, Matthew, was lovely.

   Enjoyable evening. Some finishing touches of table service such as a stick through your martini olives so you don’t have to use your fork and go fishing from your drink would have been nice.

   Onion soup was disappointing. Too much cheese not enough soup. Arrived cold had to be sent back.

   I have heard lots about Bar Sardine and was lucky to snag a reservation. It definitely lived up to the hype. The food was delicious and our server Alana could not have been nicer. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and was very attentive. 10/10 experience and I will be back for sure!

   We ordered the French toast and cheeseburger. Both were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   Experience was so-so, but I truly think it was an off-night for them, so will try again! Coming from NYC and being a frequent visitor of France, it’s not normal to pour your own wine. Additionally, when we ordered our food, they were out of several items and then told us after the food started being made and coming out that they didn’t have those items anymore. I think the attention to detail wasn’t there for simple things, especially for a 3-month wait. Right now my opinion is that it’s over-hyped, but will try again to see if that changes and if our situation was unique.

    We felt like we were dining in France! An absolutely perfect meal of Dover Sole, Lobster Ravioli, Frites and wine.
