Welcome to Bar Rocca, Marda Loop's new wine bar, featuring a wide selection of international wines, a curated cocktail list, and delicious small plates.

Located above DOPO, our sister restaurant, Bar Rocca offers indoor and outdoor dining spaces for any time of year. Focusing on serving incredible wine in an intimate space, Bar Rocca is the place to be. Open 7 days a week till 11pm, with lunch service on weekends.

Your reservation guarantees your seats for two hours from the booked time. Please note that our outdoor seating is available year-round. With heaters, a fireplace, and blankets available, we promise to keep the space as cozy as possible. We do recommend that you dress accordingly if you book an outdoor spot as Calgary's weather always surprises us!

I’m a big negroni fan and they might have converted me to like white negronis. Everyone at the table said it was the best Caesar salad they’ve ever had!

Had a great experience at Bar Rocca! The food was fantastic—especially the tuna crudo, which was super fresh and came in a surprisingly generous portion. The ambience is also on point—stylish, cozy, and perfect for a night out. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Definitely planning to come back soon!

What an amazing vibe! Sat outside by the fire, cozy! Cocktails and shareables were delicious and filling! Loved the beef tartare, tuna crust and the Caesar salad! Will bring my dog next time.

What a great little spot. Cocktails were great. Our server was very knowledgeable and made really good suggestions. We tried some cheeses which paired perfectly with the wine. Definitely a nice night out.

We only had very delicious cocktails after dinner. Huge wine list but very warm in the little room at the bar. Will be fantastic in the summer!
