   Phenomenal Experience — Chef Henry Does It Again! I’ve followed Chef Henry from Noninna in West Islip to The Linwood, and now to Bar Lucy — and he never misses. This place is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, vibrant, and inviting. We started with the grilled octopus — hands down the best I’ve ever had. The Lucy Chop Chop salad was off the charts, bursting with flavor and freshness. For mains, the Branzino Mediterranean Sea Bass, Cacio e Pepe pizza, and the Cavatelli were each exceptional — perfectly cooked, beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious. The wine and cocktails were spot on, and the service was attentive, fast, and friendly. Bar Lucy is the full package — incredible food, top-notch service, and a gorgeous setting. Chef Henry continues to raise the bar. Can’t wait to come back.

   I was hesitant to give it a chance after loving the Linwood…but it was a great experience. Many of the same warm staff greeted me…and the menu had a lot more options for me than the Linwood. There are a lot more fish options and I was pleasantly surprised. We will miss a few of the menu items, but I will definitely go back.

   Loved Bar Lucy. What a wonderful place! We tried so many different dishes and all were just perfect, from the pizzette to the salads, bolognese and Milanese! Everyone had a great time and we left making plans to return. Couldn’t be happier with this new spot. The staff is delightful and the decor gorgeous. Looking forward to another go!

   Great place. Will miss it. Hope they continue to put their shrimp and grits and fried chicken in another one of their restaurants after this place rebrands to an Italian restaurant.
