   Service personnel was very attentive to our needs. Food was good and came out hot. Cocktails (Bloody Mary and Mojito) were not the best. Bloody Mary was too salty and the Happy Hour Mojito was really tart/sour.

   There were a lot of problems with our service this night. Besides this, I love Bar Louie and is a great vibe and place to eat.

   Riley was our waiter… He was sweet, pleasant, friendly, accommodating, and most important professional. He made my first experience and visit perfect .

   Accommodations were not already set up for our reservations and multiple moves had to be made in order to seat our party. Service was just okay.

   Our server was great, albeit clearly overwhelmed. When we walked in, there were many empty, dirty tables throughout the restaurant, trash on the floor. Hostess was effective but walking the restaurant looking for tables, yawning (without covering her mouth) sitting at dirty tables on her phone, often not noticing customers coming in or making attempts to clear dirty tables. Never saw a busser, and assuming servers were responsible for clearing tables and didn’t have time to. Looked to be VERY understaffed. Never saw a manager, although they could have been covering in the kitchen. Based on staffing, probably should have back half of the restaurant tables closed. Food came out quickly, was hot, correct and delicious. Server was apologetic and checked in several times with us before being able to actually take our order. She was friendly and personable when she did make it to us-we will return because of her. I spent the first 30 minutes of our visit contemplating asking for a job just so we could help the staff.

   Understaffed, dirty tables everywhere. Staff overworked and spread to thin. I don’t blame the server she did as good as she could do. Everything took a long time, but she definitely tried. There’s nobody busing tables in the servers have to do it themselves along with the hostess. The food would’ve been better if it was hot. I ordered the chocolate cake with cherries and they were out of cherries, and the cake did not taste good. I sent it back. That is typically not something I would ever do so they took it off the bill. Great location with a lot of customers, but not enough staff to make people want to come back.

   Bar Louie - St. Charles was perfect. We were able to make a quick reservation, was seated promptly upon arrival, given great martini suggestions, food came out accurate and hot. Ambience was moderate for a Saturday night and Morgan, our waitress was attentive and great. I recommend this place for a date, girls outing or family dinner night.

    The place is cool, the vibe is great. It was packed. But they had few waiters. Therefore, the waiters took 30 minutes to check on us how things are. I wanted to order more drinks but it took too long for her to show up and check if we need anything else.
