I and five friends had lunch this past Saturday. Our waiter, David, was very good. He was very helpful with describing and suggesting different items on the menu. We asked for separate checks and he had no problem with that at all. That is a plus for us. The prices were reasonable and the amount of food we got was worth it. We all got something different. I got the fish tacos, which you made yourself, and they were very good. They gave you a lot of fixings for the tacos. Someone got the pulled pork and said it was delicious. Another got the shrimp bruschetta “Pomodora” and it came out in a huge martini glass with pieces of parmesan crostini and lots of shrimp. She took some of that home. Someone else got the pulled chicken melt. Two of my friends ordered from the brunch menu and had breakfast items. The place was very well laid out with plenty of room to get around. It used to be Jesse Wong’s Kitchen and it had been totally made over. I do miss the beautiful restaurant that once was Jesse Wong’s Kitchen but Bar Louie is a good replacement.
