                        This is our first time coming here. I had read mixed reviews about this place. And I have to say the -ones that I read definitely were on point regarding the food however our service was very good. Our server Victoria was excellent and made recommendations for drinks and food as well. The drinks were good however, the food definitely fell short of expectations. The chicken wings were overcooked and almost to the point where they were totally dried out. They were over seasoned with the lemon pepper seasoning and were very salty. The loaded tots were way too salty and loaded with a lot of liquid cheese, but hardly any bacon. My wife and I each got a burger. I got the all nighter and she got the chipotle barbecue burger. I ordered my medium well and it was done that way, but my wife ordered her medium and it was done closer to well done. I asked for pickles and onion to be added to my burger, which it did not have when it came out. Victoria was kind enough to go back to the kitchen and get me some. With that being said both burgers lacked flavor and were beyond mediocre. We would definitely come back for drinks, but not for food. Nothing special on their menu that would lead me to come back and try something different.

                        I’ve been coming here for years and the service last night will keep me away. Our waitress would walk by and not check on us. She left for the night and no one else came to check on us or see if we needed anything.

                        The service was good, they didn’t have enough help. The server was working the entire restaurant, I felt very bad for her. Our reservation was at 4:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday, a great time of day to visit the restaurant.

                        We had reservations for 6:15. We had 8 in our party. After talking to the hostess several times she said she was still waiting for a large group to leave so we could have their table. After a 30 wait I asked to speak to the manager. That didn’t happen. So 3 of us sat down at the end of the table the other large group had. They finally got the clue to leave. It’s not the hostess job or even waitress job to move them out. It’s the manager’s responsibility to keep them moving. She did comp us 2 appetizers. What’s the point of reservations if we have to wait 30 minutes!

                        We love Bar Louie, however, this trip the food was all over cooked, tater tots so crunchy there was no trace of potato inside. The server did the best she could, we had a group of 12 and they were short- staffed so drink service was slow. We will return though and give them another chance as we appreciated the accommodation for a large group reservation.
