Bar King has reopened! Book your reservation today. Online reservations can be made for the dining room, patio or for the $75 per person Chef's Experience. You may also make a reservation by calling or emailing the restaurant directly.

Bar King believes in slow, deliberate, and thoughtful cooking. The restaurant, bar, and bakery collaborate daily on shared ingredients and a no waste philosophy. Bar King is offering two distinctive experiences, a la carte dinner, or Chef's Prix Fixe Menu.

Online reservations are now open for the Chef's Prix Fixe Menu, a $75 four course family style menu with two parking spaces in our private parking lot included in your reservation. The Chef's Prix Fixe Menu is not your traditional tasting menu, but instead a more interactive menu that is designed to be shared.

My husband’s birthday dinner was phenomenal! Their staff is so kind and personable, their food was excellent and worth every penny! We had the Duck-which is a WHOLE duck and includes everything you need to create a full meal for two people, maybe three. The Sesame panda cotta alone was worth the trip. Such a fun night out. Thank you! We will be back!

Everything about the evening was fantastic. We did the Chef’s Pre Fixe tasting menu and it was incredible. The service was amazing as well. They Covid safety measures they had in place made us feel extra safe. It was just nice to have a special night out—with a little semblance of normalcy—in the middle of a pandemic.

Our meal was out of this world delicious. With cocktails, you try to sip slowly, but end up ordering two because they are just that good. The staff went above and beyond to make everything safe, smooth, and enjoyable.

Absolutely love this place. The staff is awesome and the food is amazing. The only problem being trying to make up your mind of what to order as everything looks delicious.

Probably the best restaurant in Portland and in Oregon and entire west coast United States. Definitely coming back here. Price is appropriate for the superb quality and also good quantity. My husband who eats a lot was beyond full 🤣. Great find
