Named after the patron saint of hospitality, St. Julian the Hospitaller, Bar Julian evokes the warm welcoming spirit of its patron saint.

Join us for daily Sunset Happy Hour, Live Music Tuesdays, Vinyl Fridays and DJ Saturdays.

Walk-ins are always welcome and encouraged for lunch and brunch. Reservations are not accepted during evening hours.

With an absolutely beautiful view, good service, and great entertainment (a fantastic guitar player), we had wonderful time. Bonus was to watch a thunderstorm roll across the Savannah River!

We came for brunch—great atmosphere and solid drinks. Whatever you do, don’t get the steak and potatoes. Probably the worst steak I’ve ever had—tough and flavorless. The mushroom sauce on top was honestly the only redeeming part. On the bright side, the chicken sandwich was amazing! Would definitely come back for that and a few other things looked good passing by.

As a local to Savannah, Bar Julian is always great! Food and Ambience is one of the best here. Our server, Sera is Top Notch- very courteous and attentive. Much appreciated!

Beautiful views! The food and service were excellent! A bit pricey, but not ridiculous. We actually visited twice. Once for drinks and apps - the whipped feta and bread were outstanding, and breakfast. My husband had the traditional breakfast, which was very good and I had the yogurt, fruit and granola. It was fresh and tasty! We enjoyed both visits and will return when we are back in the area.

Lunch is not busy so staffing is very limited. Took waaay too long for service.

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere and view overlooking the city was perfection. The service was great and the staff was super friendly and accomodating.

The food and drinks were good. The place was nicely decorated with a view of the river. But the service was bad. Went for a late Saturday brunch and made reservations well in advance. Still had to wait for a table. They never refilled our water or checked in on our party.

Had high expectations and walked out kind of meh. When we arrived for our 1:30 reservation, the hostess was no where to be found. There were at least 4-5 groups waiting. Two separate people tried to flag down someone, eventually the hostess showed up after a 15 minute wait. The couple in front of us did not have a reservation, but was given ideal seating on the balcony. Even though we had a reservation, we were given a not so great spot. Waitress was fine, but disappeared after a while. Ordered a coffee cocktail…when it eventually showed up to the table it was not even warm. Food was ok. Overall very disappointed with the poor service.
