Named after the patron saint of hospitality, St. Julian the Hospitaller, Bar Julian evokes the warm welcoming spirit of its patron saint.

Join us for daily Sunset Happy Hour, Live Music Tuesdays, Vinyl Fridays and DJ Saturdays.

Walk-ins are always welcome and encouraged for lunch and brunch. Reservations are not accepted during evening hours.

We had excellent service, food was delicious! Also, the view was wonderful, pretty much zero complaints, except it was incredibly loud. We sat inside right in front of the doors. We could hardly hear each other talk due to the level of the speakers.

the place was really beautiful and drinks and food were pretty good. our service was definitely not great. we saw our server only 3 times during our 2 hours there and 2 of those times we had to ask other people to grab her. i work in the service industry so i tried to look around to see if it was busy or what but it seemed pretty averagely busy. they added a gratuity on top which i think is a little frustrating considering we saw our server only a few times.

Not so good. The menu options were pretty limited as they had run out of some items. No croissants?! The food we did have was ok, but not special. The service was poor. We had to request silverware, received food intended for a different table, and then our server just disappeared. After a long wait, someone else finally brought the drinks we had ordered. The ambience is nice, but there are many other lovely rooftop restaurants/bars in Savannah. We won’t be returning to Bar Julien.

With an absolutely beautiful view, good service, and great entertainment (a fantastic guitar player), we had wonderful time. Bonus was to watch a thunderstorm roll across the Savannah River!

We came for brunch—great atmosphere and solid drinks. Whatever you do, don’t get the steak and potatoes. Probably the worst steak I’ve ever had—tough and flavorless. The mushroom sauce on top was honestly the only redeeming part. On the bright side, the chicken sandwich was amazing! Would definitely come back for that and a few other things looked good passing by.

As a local to Savannah, Bar Julian is always great! Food and Ambience is one of the best here. Our server, Sera is Top Notch- very courteous and attentive. Much appreciated!

Beautiful views! The food and service were excellent! A bit pricey, but not ridiculous. We actually visited twice. Once for drinks and apps - the whipped feta and bread were outstanding, and breakfast. My husband had the traditional breakfast, which was very good and I had the yogurt, fruit and granola. It was fresh and tasty! We enjoyed both visits and will return when we are back in the area.
