   While the food and ambience were good, the menu was surprisingly boring. Except for a couple of appetizers, there was nothing “new age” or remotely modern on it.

   The service was great but the food was okay. We ordered garlicy bhindi masala , and to be honest the okra was not cooked , it was raw and also we ordered lasuni palak paneer , it was bland. Not recommend going again, I am so surprised how did they get Michelin guide recognition. There are much better places out there that serves delicious food and have great service.

   The food, not only delicious but also animated and interactive, added a unique flair to the whole dining experience. It was a delight to not only savour the flavours but also be a part of the culinary journey. Moreover, the ambiance of the restaurant was truly amazing, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening.

   Had a reservation for 8pm Friday. Got a call on Thursday afternoon telling us to ensure that we arrive on time since their omakase menu was only available until 8:15pm. We show up at 7:55pm, no table, no room at the bar. We wait on a couple of couches outside and are finally seated at 8:30. Ordered a bottle of wine, but a second bottle was not available. Picked a different bottle after finding out we couldn’t have a second and had to ask for our glasses to be changed. Had to hang on to our cutlery for the first 6 courses….really??!! Food was mediocre, and clearly not made on demand with the exception of the naan. Had really high hopes, wouldn’t do it again.

   I loved the food items we ordered, except for the desserts. Since we were celebrating my husband's birthday, they brought us a cheesecake dessert with a candle on it. We ordered drinks (mango and tamarind), makhan chicken tikka as an appetizer from the tandoori section, and the Champaran maas as the main dish, along with two chur chur parathas. The goat dish also comes with a garlic naan. Overall, we really enjoyed the drinks, appetizer, main dish, and breads. Also, they even kept our reservation after we informed them we will be 45 minutes late due to the traffic in Toronto.
