Bar Crudo - Divisadero St
Bar Crudo is one of our favorite places. The waitress made sure to let us know about our food since it took unusually long this time. Great as always!
Incredible flavors. The crudo sampler and seafood chowder are must-haves.
Service amazing, food incredible. The atmosphere is very vivid and can be noisy. Not recommended for a romantic and quiet dinner. Thank you for an incredible experience. We’ll be back!
Staff and food was amazing
Delicious and fresh. If you love seafood come here!
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for 7 years because everything about the food, service, and atmosphere always stays consistent and excellent. I live in the neighborhood and am always happy to come back. Thank you!
Geweldig eten. Goede bediening!
My go to spot for anyone comes from out of town. Never disappoints!
meh, need a menu change...getting boring.
The crudo plate was wonderful and the octopus was as good as those that I had tried before in Spain. Great meal!
The menu was wonderful and not the usual fare. We loved the freshness of the seafood and the lovely wine and beer list. A selection for celebrating a night out.
The staff was also fantastic, friendly and attentive, without being too much. We had a wonderful evening and we will be back!!
Our server was amazing and the food is always very good. She chose the perfect oysters for us given what we like. The crudo, especailly the Kamahachi was incredible. Just remember this is a seafood bar, land lovers will go hungry. Only negative, space is tight. Which is fine for a date night, but we had a larger table 6-8 next to us who thought the restaurant revolved them who were screaming and obnoxious. But can’t blame the restaraunt for bad guests.
I hadn't been in a bit (since Melissa left) and was so delighted this trip. Start to finish everything we ate wasexcellent and the service was warm and kind and what a great night.
Went for dinner with the parents. The food and service were 10/10. Only complaint was that the restaurant was VERY loud, and it was very hard to hear each other. Also to note, almost the ENTIRE menu can be made gluten free! Otherwise we had a wonderful dinner!
We had a great dining experience. The staff was very cordial and efficient. Every dish we ordered was phenomenal. We had the oysters, mussels, the halibut, kampachi, and scallop crudos, and the lobster salad. The food was served very quickly and everything was incredibly fresh. We ended with the red snapper and whole branzino... they were simply delicious. This is a great place for lovers of seafood.
The good was delicious and the staff is very knowledgeable and kind.
They really know how to cook fish correctly. Everything was delicious. Way too noisy though!
The dining room was cold food plus I found it overpriced.
Service was above average as was the raw food .
We booked a reservation for 7:15pm and arrived a bit early. They told us we had to wait until 7:15pm which is fine as we were early. We waited for the next 35 minutes to be seated at a open door and top window table when it was about 40 degrees out and pouring rain so we sat there for about another ten minutes with our coats and hoods on, never to be greeted and ultimately decided to go to Barvale next door.
Was horrible customer service and I have one star for food bc even though we didn’t get a chance to eat there we did sit at the food window for 35 minutes waiting for a table where we saw the oysters and Crudo that was sitting there when we arrived still sitting there when we left. Yuck! 🤮
My new fav!
Very good food!
Overall didn't compare to other SF restaurants we've been to at that price point and in the Michelin guide. Service in particular was disappointing. I wouldn't return.
Best chowder I've ever had. This small, noisy hot spot makes some outstanding seafood. Great wines to complement the food too.
Our server, Bonnie, was exceptional. The food is always reliably fresh and prepared perfectly.
One of my favorite places to dine in San Francisco.
Bar Crudo is a very pleasing and worthwhile experience. I am left without any grievance to complain of, which is unusual in the local dining scene. Food was consistently enjoyable and well-prepared, and service was always at beck and call without being intrusive.
Crudo for two is the best. Octopus was very good. Bonnie and Danni great servers. If you don't appreciate shrimp, bacon, and hot peppers, give the seafood chowder a miss.
Love the food
Great place to have a unique dinner. If want to have an enjoyable experience with extraordinary food, this is the place for you. I would recommend it, specially if you are looking for fresh seafood delight.
I love Bar Crudo and try to eat here every time we are in San Francisco. Fresh ingredients and amazing flavor. I also enjoy the interesting wine options. Highly recommend.
I was pretty upset that the restaurant knew it was my wife’s birthday and did not provide any dessert and did not even mention anything until I brought it up to the waitress
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Celebrated wife’s 40th and were pleased with about every aspect. Would have liked a few more dessert options but Bi-Rite was right across the street so it was all good.
Amazing raw seafood
Everything was literally amazing. Our server suggested a terrific wine from Etna. The seafood could not have been any fresher or better prepared. I brought a close friend from NYC (and they of course think everything is better there). He was blown away. The uni toast is off the rails. Wow.
This restaurant has NEVER let me down. The food is fantastic. The people working there are so amazing and attentive. This is always my go to place!!!
Oysters were delicious. Mussels were fantastic. Uni toast is a must have! The crudo plates were the least memorable. I should have just gotten more shellfish. Finished the meal with the whole Branzino which was excellently done. I would definately recommend this place to any seafood lover.
We like two of the four crudos we tried. We ordered the peel and eat prawns. What a disappointment! They were cocktail shrimp that reminded me of dinner parties at my grandma’s. The branzino was very good. There was only one dessert options so we went to bi-right across the street for ice cream. I don’t feel the need to return.
The Slayer, the best server, she knows how to pair their wines and foods and her services is absolutely lovely.
Absolutely fantastic food and atmosphere!
