I'm really not impressed with the food here at all, while the seafood is fresh, nothing really stands out in terms of its preparations. At its price point, I think there are many better options out there. Service is outstanding and ambiance is great as well.
Awesome service! Beautiful seafood, great wine menu!
Service was good. Restaurant was lovely, however I was quite violently ill later that evening. I had the octopus and something did not sit right with the dish. So unfortunately I cannot give a good review.
Food exquisite. Little loud upstairs; any way to get something for ceiling to damp it down?
Not as good as the last time we went
The food at Bar Crudo is always impeccable. I love that it feels so elegant but also casual and approachable. The wine selection is also perfectly matched to the menu.
Delicious food, great atmosphere, great staff. Thats
Great food! Definitely pricey but the food & service was delicious. Great spot for some small bites to share and drinks.
Amazingly fresh seafood. Definitely worth trying it out!
We'd be back in a heartbeat! Excellent food and service!
Still one of our favorite spots! The wine list, food and service combine for a great experience every time.
We had fun
An amazing meal! We started off with a variety of oysters and the mussels. Holy smokes! The mussels were simply unique and delicious. So, so good. We moved onto the lobster salad. The big chunks of lobster and the mildly sweet beats with the vinaigrette was a lovely combination. Next we had the branzino. Flavors to die for but the bones got frustrating. Last we had the dessert which was a sampler of chocolate truffles and with fruit and pistachios with a drizzle of honey. End to end the flavors were amazing. The noise level ended up getting super loud as the night went on and could hardly hear each other which was frustrating but then again who needs to talk when the food is so good!
delicious and innovative seafood, I go regularly, attentive professional service
Excellent service and food was superb!
So tasty...you hold the raw fish in your mouth as long as. you can and enjoy the mingling of the flavors, followed by a sip of dry white wine....mmmm
Good service, great food
So fresh and delicious. Everything was served beautifully. One of my favorite meals in SF. Fantastic service.
Not worth money.
Always a incredible spot! Great seafood menu!!
This is a great place for good bite to eat before a night out. I was hoping for a bit more crudo options given the name of the place.
Great service and the food was delicious. Always a consistent level of excellence here.
One of my favorites. Staff is really awesome. Food is great!
Bar Crudo just keeps serving up the best food with the warmest staff and a hella dope wine list.
The first course of the price fixe was fine but as the meal went on, the portions got smaller and they were serving courses before the last one was finished. The main course portion was tiny. Not worth the price.
Wonderful service + amazing good!!!
A frequent visitor to Bar Crudo, it is a wonderful spot for a tasty bite and refreshing glass of wine. Happy hours are quite reasonably priced and some of the happy hour specials are among my favorites. Pair Crudo with a desert trip to bi-rite down the block for a bite of ice cream. Best part is when you wake up the next morning and you weigh the same as the day before. But for a,group dinner which this reservation was for I would find another spot. We had an awkwardly large table and we're shouting over the din. Crudo is,better for two or seated at the bar. I love the crudo platter and the spaghetti. Yum
Love this spot, fresh fish and great service
The food is excellent. Kind of trendy scene, kind of loud, but overall an excellent menu with beer & wine only. The selection for beer and wine is great though. Not for vegetarians or people who don't eat seafood.
Bar Crudo is always a pleasure.
Not a lot of choice on the menu. The food was good however portions are small.
Bar Crudo is not what it used to be. Flavors are subtle and not as bold as in the past. Price is higher than before which makes it not a good value at all. The service was passable and they still don't have a dessert menu. There are better options in the neighborhood
Great place with urban feel. The staff: amazing, fun and accommodating! The food:incredibly delicious and fresh!!! We shall be back soon!
It has been years since I dined here, but had always wanted to return...and it didn’t disappoint! Fantastic food and an amazing staff on top of it all.
The drinks, oysters and crudo are all really amazing; however it seemed a bit overpriced. Also we didn’t get seated for half an hour despite having a reservation which was a bit frustrating.
We had a lovely dinner of hot and cold seafood with friends from Venice, who really know their seafood. The wine and food were all excellent, the service sensitive and attentive, and we had a great time. Wonderful place.
Delicious food. Fresh seafood and exciting menu. Great service. Date night!!!
This is definitely now in our top 3 for seafood, especially oysters, when in San Francisco.
As per usual a fantastic experience!!! Great food great service!!!
Great service, nice setting.
