Bar Crudo - Divisadero St
Love this spot, fresh fish and great service
The food is excellent. Kind of trendy scene, kind of loud, but overall an excellent menu with beer & wine only. The selection for beer and wine is great though. Not for vegetarians or people who don't eat seafood.
Bar Crudo is always a pleasure.
Not a lot of choice on the menu. The food was good however portions are small.
Bar Crudo is not what it used to be. Flavors are subtle and not as bold as in the past. Price is higher than before which makes it not a good value at all. The service was passable and they still don't have a dessert menu. There are better options in the neighborhood
Great place with urban feel. The staff: amazing, fun and accommodating! The food:incredibly delicious and fresh!!! We shall be back soon!
It has been years since I dined here, but had always wanted to return...and it didn’t disappoint! Fantastic food and an amazing staff on top of it all.
The drinks, oysters and crudo are all really amazing; however it seemed a bit overpriced. Also we didn’t get seated for half an hour despite having a reservation which was a bit frustrating.
We had a lovely dinner of hot and cold seafood with friends from Venice, who really know their seafood. The wine and food were all excellent, the service sensitive and attentive, and we had a great time. Wonderful place.
Delicious food. Fresh seafood and exciting menu. Great service. Date night!!!
This is definitely now in our top 3 for seafood, especially oysters, when in San Francisco.
As per usual a fantastic experience!!! Great food great service!!!
Great service, nice setting.
We loved every bite. The wine was fantastic. Erin could not have been more attentive or more fun. Great night!
The food was amazing as always. The service impeccable. They never miss the mark here!
Bar Crudo was amazing! Every bite of the crudo sampler was packed with flavor, and the chowder was loaded with seafood. Great service, too!
Staple date spot
I used to love this place. This time the scallops on their raw appetizer were soft, spongy, fishy, rather than full, plump, meaty. Nicely we were able to trade for char. Server's knowledge of wine was lacking, as she referred to a cabernet-merlot blend as a beaujolais.. Well perhaps the wine list had recently changed..
Perfect for a night/dinner out with your friends. A little noisy for a first date unless you're used to relatively high volume venues. Food is quite good. Most of it variations on sashimi and prepared seafood like mussels, Featured wine by the glass and beer very reasonable, Our go-to place when friends arrive from out of town.
Oysters were on the fishy side and thought food was overpriced.
Excellent wait staff. Loved the food in particular the uni, everything very good though.
Tasty, not cheap - but not breaking the bank - for a very well put together and delicious dinner of seafood.
Crude dishes were good but bland. Real winners were salads and wine list.
Food and service excellent.
Wine selection even better.
Thank you for a great evening.
I wish I had gotten our wait staff's name. She was about as good as it ever gets. We were seated in the upstairs at 630 Wednesday the 11th. She knew her menu, she knew her wine and was attentive without being obstrusive. One of the best dining experiences because of this I've had in some time.
Seafood here is simply presented and of good quality. Innovative presentations of Crudo along with classic offerings of chilled shellfish were enjoyed. Simple wine list but matched most of the food selections well.
Great food and experience.
I’ve been wanting to go here for years and finally made it! Every part of my experience was top notch. The service was amazing - all the recommendations were perfect. The flavor profile of the dishes were so good. Lobster salad, Spanish octopus, oysters and the Crudo sampler was so good - we had to order 2.
I can’t wait to go back.
We were a few minutes late for a reservation, but the host sat us right away and graciously. It was a full house, incredibly loud and my companion and I could not hear each other at all, so they let us know that they would give us a window seat which was more enclosed if the reserving party never showed up. Otherwise, honestly, we considered leaving. We got the table! This helped extraordinarily, we could actually hear each other. We ate an entrée as an appetizer and it was amazing: tender, sweet octopus. Followed by another delicious couple of plates: I had a lobster salad which included creamy buratta, spicy arugula, sweet peaches! She had a whole branzino which was so delicious that she ate it down to the bone and then ordered one to go to bring home to her partner. Even though the kitchen was closing at that point, they made it happen! We had several glasses of wine, and in retrospect I should have ordered a bottle. Desserts were not intriguing, but we had a really great meal. The only reason I can’t I give it five stars is because the noise was off the hook.
Our waitress was delightful. So much fun. The food was also delicious
We had a wonderful time celebrating my Husband's 40th birthday, i noted that when making the reservation, but it must have skipped the Hostess mind. The Food and ambience where perfect.
They seriously do fish and seafood so well. Everything was exquisite and that chowder is the best soup on planet earth. Seriously.
Service was excellent and food was good. Recommend the seafood chowder.
Food was very good. Staff was great with recommendations and pairings. Glad we were directed here, I would happily recommend and revisit!
Loved the seafood chowder. Crudo is kind of casual fine dining fare.
Very expensive for the amount of food.
Food was wonderful; service was wonderful; noise level was painful. Sadly, we will not return or recommend this restaurant to friends until the noise level is addressed. We would like to dine without shouting at each other. I am especially concerned about employees who experience, possibly, dangerous decibel levels during their shifts.
Always love this place, not only for its raw fish but for the best chowder in the free world. Service was lovely. We got there early (for us) at ca. 6:45 and the noise level was deafening, but halfway through our meal the noise tamed down and we could have a conversation.
One item, the uni avocado toast didn't go together in my opinion. But every other dish was absolutely delicious: crudo sampler, stone fruit salad, and grilled salmon.
Well of course at first the service is on point but nobody comes to see if everything is OK or if there’s anything else we need.
The food was phenomenal. However nothing comes with it like a main branzino
