    Come hungry and allow us to curate a Spanish feast for your enjoyment! Three savory courses plus dessert from across our menu. If you are booking for a group of 8 or greater, please let us know of any dietary restrictions you'd like us to be aware of ahead of time, either by phone or (503-477-9081) or email (taylor@barcasavale.com). We'll take things from there! Tasting menu required for all groups greater than twelve- for regular (non tasting menu) reservations for groups of 7-12, please phone the restaurant. Thanks!

    We have been coming here for years - a big favorite. There has been a change (perhaps the new chef?). Prices are the same but portion sizes have been noticeably reduced. A very loud large group made the dining experience unpleasant.

    Food was mostly okay to good, but not great. Service was pretty good. Neighborhood and surrounding area was crawling with people living in tents and tagging buildings. A total of 23% was added to our bill for health insurance (3%- fine, disclosed on menu and website) but also a mandatory gratuity of 20%- was not disclosed until the bill came. Overall not a great experience or value.

    The food was delicious! A small range of menu items and some of the dishes we just wanted a little bit more for the price. The drinks were really the star; we will be going back for the cocktails!

    The advertise their portions as something else on their social media, but in person they were minuscule sizes at best and drastically overpriced. I am always willing to pay for exceptional food but you shouldn’t be getting two bites for $20.

    This was a wonderful dining experience. The staff was attentive and well informed. Every dish we tried was very good and individual in its taste and presentation. We were given great advice on wine and sherry selection. We really appreciated the total dining experience and are looking forward to returning soon.
