Korean Tapas Restaurant. Inspired by traditional Korean cuisine...not traditional Korean cuisine.

The Korean word ‘Bansang’ refers to the style of table setting for the kings and nobles of the Joseon, a Korean dynastic kingdom that prospered for more than five centuries. At Bansang, we wish to serve all of our guests with the same care and sincerity as the chefs did for their royalty in those times past.

Korean fare is built around enjoying various distinctive types of dishes simultaneously rather than in separate courses, as this allows every person to experience continuously changing flavor combinations unique to Korean culture. Our guests can expect a modern, creative perspective on this traditional style of Korean cuisine.

    Interesting food - great flavors - I particularly liked the noodle and fried chicken appetizers. I don't understand why, despite requesting each time they brought the food (and it was served tapas style for 4 of us to share) they don't bring any serving utensils!?!?

    Great food. The waiter was good at guiding me to options that don’t have shellfish since I have a shellfish allergy and shellfish is a minor ingredient in many items in n the menu. Everything we ate was delicious!

    The menu is great, regularly updated, and this korean fusion food makes absolute fine dining. However, last time we were here, the overall experience felt too fast-paced and industrial for the price point. Dishes were prepared and served very quickly ( all 5 dishes arrived together within a ~10-15 minutes time), which dosen't match my expectations for a ~$100 meal. When I invest in high-quality dining, I appreciate having the time to enjoy the meal in a more relaxed atmosphere, not feeling like the service is rushing me through the experience.
