   The reviews online are very deceiving or the newly reopened establishment just does not live up to the previous one. Waited outside to be seated for our reservation when no one came. So we finally decided to go in, the ambiance looks like a night club which it turns into at a certain time. We were seated at one of the high tables. There were only a few people but it took forever to get a server. When they finally took our order, it took another 20 mins to get our order, well some of it. My drink never came, I saw the bartender make drinks for people who barely walked in. The bang shrimp was “okay”

   this place is closed down business. Google and open table took my money to make a reservation though

   Went to Bang at old location and LOVED it. The ambiance is different. My fav roll is now gone. Just wasn't popping like before. Only about 4 tables there yet the service was super slow. Not sure why!?

   Listen I understand it was Valentine’s Day and it was busy. However it took almost an hour for my girlfriend to get her food, my food was brought out first and I wanted to wait for hers. By the time hers came out, mine was cold and we just asked for it to be warmed up and took it to go. Her sushi was “mid” at best and not worth the price tag

   Thanks for a great, Galentines and accommodating to adding a person to the reservation. Will definitely be back another time. The food was fresh and great flavors!

   We were so excited to spend our last night in San Diego at this fun trendy sushi place. The vibe was vibing but we had to move tables because the large table behind us was obnoxiously loud. We were moved to the upstairs lounge. Not sure if this is why our service was so slow. There was one waitstaff and a hostess. We ordered 3 rolls and it took over an hour to receive 2 and another 15 minutes to receive the last. The sushi was ok, I was hoping for so much more. As we finished up dinner, the Dj was setting up and they seemed to have had more staff arrive. It was a bit of a disappointment.

   The staff needs an incredible shout out based on our experience. Individual servers that helped our table went above and beyond to make our experience great. The manager was super helpful and I couldn’t be more grateful.

    This was the worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant. If you are expecting the same vibe as the old location you will be very disappointed like we were. It is nothing like it. Our drinks were terrible and we barely got service. They over charged us for things we didn’t even order. Service was terrible. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
