Ballast Point - Downtown Disney
Amazing spot, easily one of the best (and least ridiculous) places in Anaheim, let alone downtown disney.
Good beer and food. Fun atmosphere. Will return for sure!
Drinks and service were excellent, food was good...nothing crazy special.
Cool trendy place!
Only negative is: For a place that serves a lot of beer, having a restroom with only 2 stalls needs to be revisited! There was a line of 6-10 guys the whole time I was there - women's side was exactly the same...
Everything was perfect! We loved the food and service.
Staff were great and very nice. The food was tasty as well as the beer. Will be eating here again on another trip to the Downtown Disney area.
Very chill place, great food, great beer, service was ok
The server brought us the wrong check and charged that check and then the correct check. The wrong check was voided but it’s still showing on my account as pending and it will stay there for a few days which is annoying. I’ve never had that happen before. Other than that the food was great.
All three entrées were room temperature or cold. Ambience was pretty blah. Considering all the other dining options at and around Disney, thought this place would be amazing since it’s newer. I would not go back not would I recommend it. The burger place and Italian place on both ends are way better.
Great ambiance, location, service, and above all, excellent beer. $13 a pint (for a Sculpin?) however is silly. That’s even $2 more than what California Adventure charges for their excellent craft beer. They have some really good food on their menu, but I’ve been disappointed the last couple of times with there steamed mussels...the broth used to be be deliciously beer-based and light enough to slurp up along with the mussels, but is now so incredibly butter-laden that it is uneatable (almost like melted butter you’d dip lobster into). Their burgers, however, are awesome. A few tweaks to their cuisine and beer pricing and this place would be one of my go-to’s and favorites.
Love ballast point. It’s my favorite beer ever and the food is awesome. They shut down the one in Temecula which is a bummer so I was really excited to see they had one in Disney
We had 5:30 reservations but were delayed in the security line entering the park area. I called and they said no worries, so when we arrived about 8 minutes late they showed us to a nice table by the windows. Our server, Julie I believe was her name, was the most excellent server I think we ever had! My fish tacos were very good, although the hot sauce was way too hot for my tastebuds! All in all, it was a very pleasant dinner.
We were disappointed with Ballast Point. The waitperson was effective but appeared to want to be anywhere else. The food was so-so. When we come back to Disney we might try Ballast Point again to see if this is a fluke, but at this time I wouldn’t recommend it.
Enjoyed our dinner here. The beers were tasty. The food was good, but some our entrees were a bit cold. Think it would have tasted better if the food was warmer when served.
When we checked in for our reservation, the lady who was supposed to seat us looked right past us and asked the people behind us if she could help them. I said excuse me but we were here first. She said “oh, sorry”. After that, our server was very good. The food was only so so. The beer was$12 for a pint. Twice what you would normally pay anywhere outside of Disney. Won’t go back here.
Food order was lost. Took over an hour for our dinner. No refills on water or drinks, other than alcohol. Food was cold and underwhelming. Would not come back.
Enjoyed the Food. Better then expected.
If you like beer it's a must, and they ha d a R&D list of beers that are only in house. But you can't get a taster and so since I wanted to try another beer I had to get a full glass. The beers was not good and I asked to send it back but they would only replace the beer..... Not of my choosing. Thought that wasn't very pro-consumer.
Not my first time here and I love it every time. Excellent beer, including the small batch beer The staff is friendly and informative. Reservations made it possible not to wait on a Friday night. The appetizers are hot and delicious and enough for a meal. I will always be back!
Our server was fantastic as well as the food. With the bonus of great beer.
Friendly staff, helpful with menu items, menu needs just a few more added items.
It’s like a Chuck E Cheese without televisions and even worse mascots
Our experience at Ballast Point waa incredile. Would recommend to friends and family. We saved 2 hour wait time.
We had a great server that recommended the perfect beer for our table. The chicken in the chicken and biscuit item was over fried and not very flavorful but the biscuit was delicious. Would definitely return for the beer, but not the food.
They didn’t have any TV’s to watch sports. The food was just ok for the price we paid. Beer was good as usual.
Food, service and overall experience was great. The beer was awesome as well! Enjoyed the lunch!
Great beer, good food and a nice place to relex and load battery to continue the long walk at Disneyland!!!!!!!
It was great, good beer, great food, highly recommend
Food was outstanding! All the servers were wonderful too, especially Lindsay and Jonathan. They were very knowledgeable regarding the food and beverages, and what paired well.
Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Beers were at ballpark prices. Food was good but portions were small
Great place for a night out or to unwind with a drink after Disney! They have a great selection of beers and also offer them as tasters. We just got some simple appetizers - Fries, Pretzel bites, and the BBQ flat bread which were all delicious! Big shout out to Julie who was a fantastic server and gave us some great suggestions for the evening. Definitely will visit again next time!
The beer was great but the food was just ok. Good prices for Downtown Disney but the food could be better.
Great beer and tasty food although somewhat pricey.
The food and drinks here are amazing and it’s also probably the most reasonably priced place in the entire Disney area. Make reservations ahead of time!
A nice break from the Disney style restaurants that the menus start to blend together. Loved the beet and burrata salad, the mussels broth was exceptional, and husband enjoyed the smoked wings. and of course the beer!
I treated co- workers there to celebrate their birthday. I had been before and loved it so much I wanted them to experience it. They all loved the food, the atmosphere was so nice and our waiter was amazing. They can’t wait to go again. Love this place.
The beers were great, the burrito and Riast Beef sandwich were fantastic, and the staff was excellent.
Wonderful food and friendly servers! The beer is delicious as well! Can’t wait to come back!
