Excellent, gourmet food. Friendly staff, ambience and decor perfect for the area. 15 miles outside of Springdale, worth the short drive, other restaurants in Springdale were taking advantage of tourists. Great menu. Highly recommend ! Good availability for reservations.

We were visiting the national parks and stayed near Balcony One a couple nights. We made reservations the first night and opted into sitting at the bar with Liz. Best decision we made in Virgin so much so that we came back on a rainy day for lunch. Their house salad dressing is superb and they make a great French onion soup. My friend had the pasta and I had salmon for dinner - both were fantastic. Liz was very attentive as was all their staff. The owner/manager clearly knows what he’s doing.

Food was excellent. Tried to seat us outside in the 99* heat, even with a confirmed reservation. Had to escalate to the MOD and situation was resolved within 10min. Outside of this major error, everything else was stellar.

The owners were really nice and the space is okay (not the decor as much as the Santa Fe-inspired building). We wanted to love the place, but unfortunately, the food was bland, to say the least...
Amazing place! You MUST visit this restaurant. We came to Zion as visitors from Miami and we were surprised how AMAZING the service and the food was. We order a little bit of everything and every plate was simply very well done and with an amazing flavor. The chef is able to elaborate great dishes with at elevated experience.

Third time dining at Balcony 1. The first time was quite good. The second time less so and the third time disappointing. The highlight was actually my old fashioned cocktail. The appetizers were ok (pigs knuckle, ceviche and empanada) by I thought they were less tasty than last time.
My entree was inedible- the baby back ribs were dry, flavorless and overly spiced - I won’t order that again. The side dishes were equally not enjoyable.
We also ordered the penne pasta with bolognese sauce which tasted like it came from a jar.
I will think long and hard before dining here again.

My friends and I dined here on a night when a local band (3 Hattrio) was playing. What a treat to enjoy live music again! Best food in Southern Utah, stellar service and a beautiful restaurant… What more do you need?

Absolutely amazing service by Tina and the little boy serving bread. Never felt that I was being ignored or forgotten. The food was great as well although I wish one of the pork appetizer we tried was more flavorful. Unfortunately the Ahi wasnt available due to shipment malfunction but everything else was still amazing. My boyfriend only ever orders lemonade and theirs was absolutely perfect on sweetness and tart. Adored this place so much! As a Minnesotan, theres a ton of restaurant in the metro but none has ever left such an impression like this restaurant.

We loved this Gem which is situated in a tiny town. The menu was excellent with a wide variety of foods to please all palates.
We especially enjoyed our Waitress Elyssa. She was very efficient but really friendly. You could tell she loved her job & was happy where she worked.

Place is amazing. Food is tremendously savory. Booked reservation for two and two more joined unexpectedly. They made immediate accommodations for our larger party. They ran out of the signature ribs and was given oven roasted chicken as another entree option-to much satisfaction. Perfectly tender and flavorful. Had such a variety of types of foods and all were so well prepared by the chefs that you would think each dish was specific to a specialty restaurant. The restaurant employs young and old and you feel like their family; always refilling water and removing emptied plates. Flash Baked Potato was a surprise treat as an appetizer-tender and delicious.
As we left the restaurant (around 9:30: they close at 9) a couple entered and were informed the restaurant was closed. We walked out the door to our car in the parking lot and were immediately approached asking if we were the people who wanted food—
The employee was searching for the couple so they could invite them back in for food!

This is a new restaurant in the area according to the staff. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like you are with family. The staff is very attentive, the owner happened to be on site and we chatted about how she started the restaurant. Kudos to them for being brave and opening a restaurant during the pandemic!!! The food is excellent, the desserts are homemade and the tables are spaced (and placed) so well that you do not hear the conversation at the next table. Overall, what a refreshing experience and a welcome change from our backyard grill!!! Thanks.

I made a reservation at Balcony One after my hotel recommended it. From the moment I walked in I had a sense that this was going to something special. The hostess greeted me warmly and I was quickly seated. My server, Austin, promptly came to my table to take my drink order. I selected one of their signature cocktails which was well made and delicious. As I perused the menu, I was offered an amuse-bouche which was a delightful preview of what I had to look forward to. My server was very well-spoken and knowledgeable about the menu. There were so many fabulous choices on the menu. I settled on the Dino Rib, a Smoked Beef Rib served with Chili Nopales, corn cakes and a side of their house made apple-jalapeño BBQ sauce.
While I was enjoying my cocktail as my entrée was being prepared, the Pit Master, brought me an out-of-this-world sample of their bone-in-bacon. The GM came by to introduce himself as I was recovering from my transportive bone-in-bacon ecstasy. I also was introduced to the owner, George Rodinos, and was impressed by his friendly manner that conveyed the warm hospitality of what you might only expect at your best friend’s home. As the night went on, I realized that each member of the staff that I encountered demonstrated this same attitude of genuine warmth.
The atmosphere was trendy, yet cozy. Everywhere there were beautiful, handcrafted touches to the décor. This was a unique restaurant, not something out of a supply catalog. In addition, there were lots of original works of art by George’s wife, Cynthia, who I got to meet also.
Balcony One is a fabulous place for happy hour, a romantic dinner, or special occasion. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Virgin, Utah. The service is unmatched. The staff genuinely cares about your experience. The food is amazing. Absolutely the best meal I had while on my month-long road trip. I am planning a return trip there soon. Balcony One is a must. I highly recommend it to you!
