   We have dined at Balcon a number of times this year and we are always impressed by the food and service. We have chosen the set menus and have definitely been full at the end of our meal. We’ll be back and the various friends who have dined with us have all enjoyed the at Balcon.

   Always enjoy going here. Food and service are always excellent. The whole lamb shoulder was delicious. Wine list a bit too big and confusing for some, but staff are knowledgeable and always very helpful. The 25% off was very appreciated and made for great value.

   Best food I've had in a good while. Large wine selection. The staff was very friendly. Overall well worth the money.

   Our group of 8 wasn’t given a la carte option. Fixed menu was yummy but servings were modest..three of our party needed to top up from the nearby Maccas afterwards! Service was very good. It was not too noisy and ambience is enjoyable.

   I am obsessed with Balcon's savoy cabbage entree. Needless to say, I tried to replicate this at home all the time but have been unable to do so with the dressing! Kudos to the chef; the dressing is magic! Having said that, the BEST thing about our meal this evening is our service staff - the very lovely Silvia. She is easily the reason we have a 5 star experience! She's knowledgeable, helpful and the definition of great hospitality making us feel at ease and so well taken care of throughout the entire evening. It's hard to not want to spend more time in Balcon with the good food, good vibes and exceptional service provided by Silvia.

   Food and service were great. The octopus in paprika oil was amazing, definitely order a side or sourdough to scoop up all that oil.

   Menu offers wide options. Perhaps a few more tapas would balance it a bit more. Food was delicious and just right for what we needed pre concert at the Opera House. Outdoor tables the best.

   Great experience in the semi private area for a group of 10 people. Service was quick and helpful - food was delicious!! Deluxe set menu was enjoyed by all and we left very full!! The semi private area overlooking the terrace was great for the big group as we could still hear each other to chat! Thank you!!

    Nowhere is cheap in Sydney, and I’m from London ! But the quality here was first class. Lovely plump oysters, and absolutely top grade anchoas del cantábrico. However no bellota jamón (only cebo, albeit very decent, but at a bellota price!). And fabulous wagu followed by lovely snapper to finish. Service was also first class.
