We are new to this area and looked to open table for a Great Experience which we normally find with restaurants we choose.
We were very excited to go to Bahama Breeze after checking out the menu.
With that being said, our server was very nice. We ordered drinks, I ordered the Mama’s Hooch and Holler flight and my daughter ordered the Ultimate Pineapple. My 5 yr old granddaughter had the strawberry lemonade. After about 10 minutes the server returned and said They didn’t have either of our drinks! I ordered the Strawberry Mojito which was Delicious and my daughter had a beer. We ordered the conch fritters which were Delicious, I then ordered the Shrimp and Mahi with lemongrass sauce and they were out of the sauce, my daughter ordered the churrassco skirt steak and they were out of that to! I ended up with the Tequila glazed salmon which was way over cooked I ordered the mashed sweet potatoes with it and had to ask for them they were not on my plate only some plantains. My daughter order the shrimp tacos there was 1 and a 1/2 small shrimp on each taco(she ordered 3). She ate 1/2of one and the couple of shrimp off the others she did say the beans and rice were good. My granddaughter had the chicken tenders from the kids menu but we were charged the regular drink for her lemonade. Not a good experience. I felt bad for the server.
Sad because I was excited to go to this restaurant!
It was my daughters high school graduation. They were out of a lot of things on the menu. We had a new waiter who forgot part of our order. Food was either cold or over cooked. Don’t plan on going back
Bahama Breeze is one of our favorite stops to make on the return home after a long work week away from home. It's a time to decompress and debrief. My go to destresser is a Goombay Smash. It works every time. Depending on the time of day, we might just get appetizers but our ultimate favorite is the Jerk Chicken Pasta -- Mushrooms and Asparagus mandatory! The Jerk Chicken wings were better when there were 8 large, now it's 6 smallish -- the flavors are still great but 4 eaten at the restaurant and 4 packed up to go home with me -- always a bonus. So this visit -- it was an appetizer evening -- Conch Fritters -- Great! Jerk Shrimp Simmer -- Fabulous! Coconut Shrimp -- another Favorite -- Fabulous! Our server was personable and knowledgeable and cared that we knew what we were getting into! (Goombay Smash comes with rum soaked pineapple -- yummy!) So Thank You Bahama Breeze Wesley Chapel! Another wonderful experience!
Girl friend get together after 18 months of not seeing one another. Our server, Naissa was friendly, helpful and very patient server as we had many questions. The restaurant was busier and noisier inside than we liked but it was too hot to eat outside.
Jerk Chicken Sampler Platter was removed from their menu... why??
Paella dish rice was under-cooked... rice was hard.
Jerk wings and side salad were fine.
Pasta Carbonara dish was fair.
Visited on Mother’s Day with a group of 8. We were sat in a side room that was only about half full, but our group was crammed around a very tight table. The tables behind us on either side were not occupied, and neither was a larger 10-top nearby, but the host didn’t offer to reseat us or pull over another table when we said we were packed in too tightly. At lunch on Mother’s Day, the restaurant was also out of ribs and the server said the bar was unable to make two drinks on the cocktail menu for reasons she wasn’t aware of. She encouraged us to choose other drinks until we found one they had, but it wasn’t quite what we wanted. Overall, good food but not the best Bahama Breeze experience I’ve ever had.
Food was fantastic as usual, this place never disappoints. Joey was our waiter this night and the staff here is always great but he was the best! Will definitely be going back and soon!
Varied selection - I chose a seafood paella that was loaded with seafood and quite delicious! It was hard to make up my mind because of all the yummy sounding entrees.
Food was great, service was fantastic as well. Will gladly go back!
Awesome service, good food in a cool looking restaurant!
I went here for a Thursday happy hour. My friend and I came in right at 4PM. We sat at the empty bar for 5-10 minutes before a bartender eventually greeted us. We already knew what we wanted to order, so I stated that we were ready to order both food and drinks. Before my friend and I could even give our food order immediately after our drink order, the bartender rushed away to put in and make just our drinks. My pina colada had a drop of alcohol at the top and not even a full shot. I saw the bartender hastily make my drink and succeeding drinks. Needless to say, the drink was a virgin pina colada and not what I ordered. When the bartender came around to ask us what we wanted to eat, he said that everything we wanted was sold out (coconut shrimp, beef empanadas, and bang bang shrimp). My friend and I were so confused - how could you be sold out of beef and shrimp on a Thursday when happy hour just began? The bartender apologized and left it at that. He didn’t even bother to recommend other similar items that my friend and I might be interested in. We had one drink each and left. The entire experience between poor service and unavailability of food is extremely disappointing.
The food is always good but the drinks were not. The server was overworked and openly stressed out. The table areas by the wall probably need a little dusting. Overall the experience was fair but not a top choice for us.
Excellent food and service today. Our server “Mason” was knowledgeable and experienced. It showed in how he took care of our party of 8. Drinks and food were excellent. Wasn’t my first here and it won’t be the last.
Wonderful, food was great & drinks were even better & very clean.
I enjoyed my lunch at Bahama Breeze. My friend and me sat outside and it was delightful.
I had a delicious salad with salmon. It was a very nice lunch.
Great food! Great service! Thanks.
I have had my network meetings at this Bahama Breeze for a little over 2years. My meetings are once a month with my network group, Power Gals w/a Latin Twist. My meeting on Friday, April 2nd was from 12-2pm and I had a waitress who was so rude that I had to write to let the restaurant know about it. Also when I requested a manager, the waiter told me that the managers were too busy in the back cooking to come help me. I am so infuriated that I’m seriously considering never, ever having my meetings at this location ever again! I have never been so mistreated in front of my piers before. Usually we have a group of 10 or more and we spend a pretty large amount of money on orders, entrees, etc.
They are doing a great job with social distancing. We ate on the patio and with the fans, it was lovely. Love the coconut shrimp tacos!
Although usually a favorite restaurant, despite visiting during a quiet time, the service was poor, creating a less than desirable dining experience.
Scott was amazing!
Food just was not as good as we anticipated.
Food and service were outstanding. Pleanty of outdoor patio seating provides a comfortable atmosphere while dining in Covid times. Also good coverage from wet weather.
The food was over cooked and not good , it was late at night and the food was not fresh at all
We were a large party and did not have to wait after making our reservation prior. It was a good experience.
Always a great experience. Breeze salad was fresh and delicious, the dressing is my favorite! And of course you can never go wrong with the jerk chicken pasta. Staff at this location are excellent. Thanks!
Excellent paella, and adult tropical drinks, it was a great day to eat outside their deck. Family friendly great live music.
Food was amazing. Waiter was awesome!
Great place to eat outdoors. Food is always good quality and reasonable value. Excellent service.
It was a fun place. All 4 of our party agreed the food was very good. Best of all was our waiter Joe. He was funny, informative, & extremely efficient.
Hey Bahama Breeze is a chain with chain food! Not great but not bad! Will always return!
Got all appetizers. So good! Very nice waitress.
Greeted almost instantly by our wait person. Very attentive provided drinks while we waited for friends to join us. When our friends arrived there was again an instant appearance with their drinks brought immediately. We ordered food and it was delivered very fast, food was hot and very tasty. Everyone was happy with their meal and the service.
Did a social distancing lunch at the outdoor portion of the bar. Drinks and lunch specials consisted of the new chicken sandwich and a couple cuban sandwich's. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was good too.
Always a fun place to go, we'll be back.
Everything was great. The food was cooked perfectly and our server was outstanding. First time at the Wesley Chapel location. Plenty of outdoor dining space.
Not a long wait, server was awesome, drinks and food came out and were right on target. Long Island ice teas were great, conch fritters, firecracker shrimp, etc.. were great. Entrees were all hot and fresh. Definitely get the siracha garlic aioli.
Our server was excellent, food was delicious and it felt very safe in oir outside seating (every other table was closed for distancing). This was a great unique choice for our thanksgiving meal!
Great alternative for Thanksgiving!
BB has been an ongoing favorite for dinner and when we saw Thanksgiving dinner we decided to try it. Glad we did
