   The Avocado toast was mediocre. Lukewarm and no longer could we add a slice of smoked salmon to make it first class. I would gladly have paid thr added amount . M The coffee was superb. Music was too loud at first but got turned down , my guest and I had to wave wildly to get The attention of the longtime server . I The ambience was nice as ever . I will think long and hard about bringing a. Non member as guest. That guest recalled the same offering under a previous chef. It was outstanding .0n the subject of food; in winter the dining room used to offer riid de veau and the Band Rwas famous for them Please consider for next winter. Lots of time to perfect a recipe or revive the old one if a chef left it? Unlikely.

   Note to Cynthia…. PLEASE get rid of the female wait person we’re discussed. She has spoiled a recent lunch. Last evening her wait service was embarrassing ! George Response please….

   Towards the end of dinner the lovely evening atmosphere was quickly spoiled when the overheads lights were turned completely on. There was no need for the additional lights. You have a very intimate and lovely spot especially with the glass doors open. It felt like a school gymnasium suddenly.

   Bread pudding was a real disappointment. It was dry and the portion half of what it used to be.

   The Club has a new menu and a new chef. Sadly we enjoyed the previous offerings more . The traditional B and R scallop dish is non recognizable! Not nearly as good as it was.
