   The crew seemed disorganized at the 5:30 PM opening. A lot of rushing around and getting take out ready for the Bite Squad or individual take out. Server was not provided the normal Thursday night special and thought it was not available. Server found out after we ordered, informed us, and allowed me to change my order. I attribute it to growing pains until new ownership.

   Excellent service and delicious food. Pasta portions were a little small for a few in our party.

   Never disappointed. Best food (and service) in Kailua and most of Oahu, though you pay for it. Inside can get very noisy when full, we try to sit outside and/or get early reservations whenever possible. Amazing how every course is outstanding. Also, we never feel rushed by wait staff. Special thanks to waiter we had twice in last 3 weeks, man who is graduating college this semester - outstanding service.

   A little concern about the table because they wanted to put us outside, which means being right on the street, plus it was cool. After a bit of negotiating (they were not especially gracious), we were able to sit inside. Our server, Gabriel, was terrific as was the pear salad and our mains. Would go back in a minute, but indicate I want an inside table.

   My favorite restaurant in Kailua. You could easily think you are somewhere in Europe, the food, the setting, even the staff make it an authentic experience.(Unless you have a table of loud American tourists that night of course :-)

   Gnocchi and the Chicken Masala were good. Red wine was served too warm and rather old, the white wine was good. We wanted inside seating but were brushed aside. The waiter was good at first but seemed to forget about us to take care of a larger group.

    My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate my birthday last night. We were told the specials and decided to get the ravioli of the day, which was four cheese. Upon getting our food we noticed bits of meat and shellfish Inside the ravioli. My boyfriend has a mild shellfish allergy and I don’t eat meat. The server was very apologetic and got us our correct plates, we were brought the lobster ravioli AGAIN! So the third time we ordered, the server said the ravioli bins have been mixed up in the back (lobster and four cheese) and now pulled from the menu. We ordered something different all together. The food was very good, service was great. But I don’t understand how a restaurant can make that mistake not once, but twice. Luckily, he only had a few bites, none containing lobster, but did experience symptoms. This is careless and dangerous to not know what you are serving to your guests.
