   Last minute booking. Seating perfect. Wine list was comprehensive and food was lovely. We both had separate entree of pasta and then shared a main course. The staff were very helpful staff and nothing was too hard for them.

   This was my second visit to Bacco Osteria and I must say the second was just as good as the first. Ever mindful of the time frame of the theatre patron's needs it was a perfectly synchronised from beginning to end. Never invasive, always attentive. The theatre menu is an absolute winner. The price is very reasonable. The maitre d' is expertly knowledgeable on all things gastronomic and certainly knows his wines. It is always a pleasure dining there and I look forward to my next sojourn into the city so that I may make my way to their door again.

   Food was delicious. Go to dish is the lamb ragu and the almond tart with seasonal fruits was divine.

   Menu well balanced and showcases fine Italian tastes. The antipasto was great to share and snapper was beautiful as was the beef. Good selection of wines, beer and other drinks were available. The service was very good and attentive and at no time did we feel rushed to leave. Finishing the evening with a glass of baccocello was special. Thanks.

   This was a very disappointing meal, not just for us but everyone else in the restaurant. Our wine did not arrive, only one entree arrived and at the same time as our mains. My main was raw and cold. The whole restaurant appeared to be in chaos.

    I wouldn’t have been surprised had Basil Fawlty and Manuel been running the kitchen. Abysmal service and food of really average quality. The table next to ours ordered starters that never arrived prior to their main course, one of which (lamb) needed to be returned to the kitchen for being virtually raw. When the staff know you are a pre theatre booking and demand you being out inside 2 hours anyway service needs to be materially speedier. Nor should I need to go to the front desk to settle the bill. The only advantage of the slow service was I was prevented from attempting to consume any dessert. Avoid
