Located on the corner of Brisbane Street and Proudfoots lane in the heart of Murwillumbah, Bacaro provides a unique mix of contemporary and traditional venetian food, inspired by the city where owners Giorgia and Luca first met and fell in love. Giorgia and Luca invite you to come and try the family recipes they have brought with them from Venice, and to stop in for a coffee, some lunch, or dinner hosted every Friday night. With new items being added to the menu each month and happy hour from 4-6pm every Friday, there's no reason not to try Bacaro for yourself, buon appetito!

Very busy, understaffed but the food was ok. Probably would not recommend this restaurant for a lunch meal to friends.

The staff, the ambience, the service and the food are exceptional. The only reservations I have are that the portions were large-man sized, which puts me off a little; and the noise became intrusive as the numbers swelled, it being a rainy night outside, everyone wanted to sit inside. I'd suggest that two portion sizes be offered, as I'm sure many have much bigger appetites than me, but none of us (three women) could finish our meal. Apart from that, it was a lovely evening.

Bacaro is a brilliant restaurant and function centre. It has partnered with the attached MArts precinct to provide its wonderful Italian food & service to Arts events in the precinct. This was one such evening for a night of extremely talented stand up poetry in the ambience of the MArts precinct.

Great restaurant and my wife loved walking through the arts and crafts precinct out the back. Our coffees were spot on and food is always really good. I've had dinner here before and the food is always up there with the authentic food we had in Italy. We will quickly become regulars for sure.
