   If you are looking for ambiance and vibe, bacari is the place. The food, however, was very disappointing. Everything was just ok, nothing really wowed me or my guest. And for the price, I don’t think we will be dining there again. The live music was great and the bread pudding was the only thing we enjoyed (that was very good!).

    So sad to see the formerly light and airy cliffs edge become a tattered smelly nightclub that tries to masquerade as a quality dining experience. That being said, the food was great and the waiters were very accommodating, but the whole place smelled like a downtrodden bar that is in need of a deep clean. Very disappointed by the ambiance. It used to be one of my favorite places to go when I lived in the neighborhood. I would not go back for the smell alone was so off-putting.

    Grateful to have gotten a last minute reservation this past Sunday. The decor and ambiance are a plus. The Mediterranean inspired dishes were all delightful. The Lamb kebob and Mac. 'Cheese were memorable.

    What a treasure! It was my birthday and my daughter took me here. It was such a lovely experience. Sitting in a forest right in the middle of downtown Los Angeles on sunset Boulevard was extraordinary and such a surprise. I would like to come back and try the live music Fridays with the twinkle lights all throughout the bamboo forest. I will definitely return here many times in the future. The chilaquiles was best ever but pretty small portion. The breakfast pizza was a nice size portion. The prices for everything were amazing. I’ve already put it on my Facebook page and told everyone to go here.

    Honestly, pretty disappointed. Made a reservation for 8pm and it says there is a 15 minute grace period. My date was running a little late, so we did not end up checking in until 8:15 but they said they were overbooked and we would have to wait even longer. I think we waited an extra 30-45+ minutes to finally get in and we wouldn’t even be able to sit in the outdoor garden, which is what I initially requested from my reservation. We ended up sitting inside and all the way in the back at the smallest table in the corner. As soon as I saw the table, I knew our service wouldn’t be the best either, and we’d be forgotten which is exactly what happened. I think I saw my server twice and while I would’ve loved a second round of cocktails, we never had the chance to order it in an appropriate time. Very disappointed in their reservation system, and overall service as I won’t even get into the demeanors of the hostesses at the front… I will say though, the Bacari burger and salmon blew us away. I’ll be back, but not to this location as I’ve had better service at the W. 3rd location in the past and will choose that over ever returning to the Silverlake location.

    By far the best food I’ve ever had. We ordered more because the first was so good. Avoid the bread and oil and just go for the buratta which is bread pesto buratta and tomato’s. The overall vibe was magical and it was very warm for being outside

    First time here. I have always loved the space and it’s still great. The food was very good but not unique or exceptional. I’m also not a huge fan of small plates so that colors my opinion. On a Monday night the crowd was lively and the place was crowded. Clearly a big hit

    My husband & I dined here with another couple on a business trip from Kansas. We didn't understand initially understand the tapas element but ended up thoroughly enjoying it, as were were able to try several foods we might not have otherwise. We ended up being satisfied not too full as often can happen with full entrees. We all agreed the chicken sliders were our favorite. The ambience was terrific. It was cool (65-70°F) during our visit, but they had outdoor heaters that made it very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this as someplace to experience while in LA.

    All really bland and sour wine options from what we tasted. No wine recommendations from server. All food came out really salty and mushy. Very loud. Really outdated music, like a 2001 theme party. We were very underwhelmed, paid, hurried out to a different restaurant.

    I took a friend here for her birthday and I'm so glad that I did! When I made the reservation I did mention that it was a birthday celebration. When we first arrived they offered a complimentary prosecco to her and even gave me one. We sat at the base of the amazing tree that grows in the courtyard and we felt like we'd been transported to someplace magical. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful. We ended up splitting four dishes between us and we loved each and every one of them. We got the carrots (yum), the stuffed mushrooms, the lamb stuffed eggplant, and the chicken sliders. It was hard to decide which was our favorite. In another act of generosity, they treated us to their version of chocolate cake. I thought the birthday girl might actually lick the plate. Haha!     Nearly painfully slow service. On addition, our food was mostly above average, but was delivered one dish at a time, taking over 10 minutes from the first burger to the last avocado toast to be delivered.
