The only issue we had with our visit was we went online to make a reservation and weren’t seated until 30 mins after our reservation which caused us to run late for our next engagement. Other than that the food and staff were both a pleasant experience.

Highly disappointed last night. Made a reservation for Valentine’s Day specifically to avoid the chaos of last minute long lines for the holiday. Booked a later reservation (8:15) to further avoid the chaos. Instead upon arriving, my fiancé and I discovered a line almost out the door, mostly other people also waiting for their reservation. One lady had already waited over an hour for her *reserved* table. Unacceptable. We enjoyed a Valentine’s Day meal at one of the many other restaurants just minutes away. Babin’s needs to work on their seating and reservation management before I’ll be back for any special occasions.

Super busy Valentine Day dinner where Open Table reservations went out the window. Babin’s hosts worked very hard to manage the crowd and ‘hangry’ people. We ended up only an hour late for our reservation, so I am not too unhappy about the wait. I do believe the food quality suffered due to the crowds.

Could not get in. Arrived for 7PM reservation at 7PM to find a line 20 -25 people deep waiting to check in for reservations. Waited approximately 15 minutes and the line had not moved. Bailed and picked up something on the way home

Arrived 5-10 minutes early for 6:30 reservation. Stood in line about 45 minutes to get checked in, then another 20 minutes for a table. Seated about 7:20. With a 6-year old who ended up sleeping through her Valentine's Day dinner.

While Valentine's night is a big challenge we had a party of 6 with 3 adults and 3 children (10, 11 and 13). The children were served about 40 minutes before the adult meal arrived. Made it impossible to enjoy the meal. In addition, the food was marginal.

With reservations we had to wait in line for 45 min. The food was fine but over priced. When we we tried to check in they told us we had to go to the back of the line. So why did we even bother to make a reservation?
