I only gave the food one start because we didn’t eat. I’ve had the popcorn before and it’s pretty good. I’ve been going to Bside for over a year now but tonight it was different. The menu is no longer a QR code and ver limited. I asked and the waitress said it’s because they are revamping the menu. But even the staff is different. The old staff had uniforms on and was ver attentive. The new staff isn’t bad but you can tell something is off. Maybe new owners?

Bar tender was amazing, she hand crafted one of the best cocktails Ive ever tasted. She was really nice, she had those drinks coming out super fast even though she was the only one working ! I will be back for sure!

I haven’t left a negative review. I hardly leave reviews unless I’m encouraging businesses. However, this is for the karaoke rooms & service. Can’t speak on food & don’t even know if that was an option. The room supposedly fit up to 8 but the 6 of us were comically tripping over each other & hardly had room for our included drinks. No one came to check in past the first minutes of our reservation when only half of us were there. As a business, they didn’t earn more revenue because no one took the group’s orders. I wasted time twice (you have 2 hours) wandering around for help. First, to replace the dud of a mic, which… it’s karaoke. Make sure they work before reservations start ticking. Second, for ice, as the worker initially dropped a bucket that was barely 1/6th full & melted by the time my full party arrived. Sweetheart, it’s frozen water. No one came to refill the room’s small water pitcher. With our limited time, I gave up trying to find staff that clearly didn’t care. Majority of my party has worked in the service industry and was stunned at the coldness & neglect. We had fun with each other for my bday and made the most of it, but I was irked that we all drove long distances for the poor service. Patrons pay $243-$274 to be there, minimum. Check in with the full party at least once. The initial worker only came after the bit in the beginning to call time & drop the bill with included gratuity. She acted like it was a favor to let us finish our queue when no one was waiting & they weren’t closing. We wasted time feeling confused, thirsty, hungry, & unattended, so we happily sang until they told us to leave. We would’ve tipped beyond included gratuity if we received actual service. Due to the price point & poor service, I wouldn’t bring anyone back here or recommend it unless they improve. I left out other jarring details, but who really cares. We’ll keep looking because this place is not it. It has potential though & I hope they get it together.

The host was very nice. She cared about our experience. BUT there are many things wrong about the speakseasy. As a craft cocktail bar, the bartenders are underdressed with sweaters. Some of the specialty cocktails are not balanced. The dry martini is not cold enough and hence was not at the right dilution. I love craft cocktails, and this business is all about details. I suggest the beverage director go to New York or DC and study how details of garnish and balance of the drink is carefully done.

I enjoyed the drinks and the ambience. The bartenders were friendly. However, I did make a reservation and still had to wait for some time to be seated. They had my party wait outside. While we waited, a larger party showed up and they sat them, but my party still had to wait. When they finally seated us, they stuck us at the bar, but my reservation as for a table. I think they need to work on the reservation and seating aspect.

The B-side is such a vibe. We stopped in for a drink before going upstairs to Topside for dinner. The cocktails are so interesting and different. I had the pink martini it presents like a light punch but look out, it's very boozy but not overwhelmingly so. A great drink to sip and have conversation. Very enjoyable. Three of us shared an order of the garlic parmesan fries. Very delicious. And the service is always first rate.

Second time at this speakeasy… both times have been great. It is a nice vibe inside. Drinks were good and bartenders were great! This is a lounge I go to, to start the night or end it with one last drink.

I’ve been to B-Side twice and each time I enjoyed myself. The dimly lit setting and excellent music creates an amazing atmosphere. Each sip of my cocktail and each morsel of food were both enjoyable, worth every dollar. I would recommend B-Side to anyone looking to have a great dining experience.

Great speakeasy in the Revival. We went on NYE, made a reservation, sat at the bar by eequezt. Loved the ambiance with the music and the dark lighting and the drinks were tasty. When giving a rating, Open Table required a star for food but we did not eat there.
