This was one of my best dining experiences ever (not just in Vegas). Menu variety is outstanding and the taste was excellent. The three of us ordered different dishes at each course and kept sharing each course so everyone could sample the exquisite food. So much good food and so little stomach :-)
Location selected because of proximity to Sands Convention center but food and service are a much better reason to dine here. Service first rate but not suficating. Restaraunt called day before to remind and confirm which I appreciate as following a busy schedule.
Great grilled octopus appetizer. Food was good but it was very noisy in there, not good for conversation. We had orichetta pasta and the sirloin and really enjoyed them. Appreciated the sweets at the end of the dinner too. Great service
The reason for dining here is we've had repeated memorable dining experiences at Batali's various restaurants in NYC AND my favorite appetizers are octopus and burrata, which is on the menu here. The octopus was delivered charcoal burnt, which is surprising to me, as I'm one of those that enjoys a bit of charcoal essence. The burrata was hard and the most un-memorable one I've had thus far. The orrecchiette with lamb sausage and rapini was subpar. The service was excellent though from checking in through the completion of dinner.
Vegas has it's share of top notch dining spots but you should certainly give B&B a shot. Don't miss the octopus appetizer which is fantastic!! (and I don't even like seafood that much).
Also the salumi sampler is just out of this world. Everything is cured in house and tastes simple divine. The cotto and capricola were very good, as were the cured loin but the star, and excuse me because I don't recall the exact name, was the porcetta which looks like proscuitto but its 10 times better. The fat simply melts in your mouth like butter. My words can't do it justice. When ordered for 2, the sampler comes with fried dough which is really the icing on the cake.
The pasta was very good but nothing special I am sad to say. Having eaten at Babbo and Del Posto in NY, I expected better. But I think it would be different had we had the pasta tasting menu which is definitely more inventive. Still, don't let me dissuade you, give it a try.
I went here for my birthday dinner while in Vegas . I made a reservation for 730 and was immediately seated next to a table of 4 older gentleman who were loud and abrasive. They were there eating because they won big on the football game which I could care less about. I tried to ignore them over the awesome Classic rock that was playing in the background but could not. They were so derogatory I just wanted them to leave. our server was prompt courteous and helpful . We ordered a field greens nothing special salad, split the pappardelle bolognese and I got the veal chop. My boyfriend got the sirloin steak. We also got a side of Brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes. Way too much food for us! Every thing was ok. Not mind blowing but good. 200 dollar good?? I'm not so sure. I don't know maybe if I could focus on my date and not those old men it might have been better for me. I will give the B and B burger joint a try!
Always one of my favs. Its location down out to the way is the first great thing the noise level is so much better than the places on the main drag upstairs.
Great service, great food you will not be disappointed.
We go to B&B every time we are in Las Vegas. The menu has an amazing array of items and everything we've had is good to outstanding. Generally, we've found seafood and pastas to be the strengths. Alberto's pyramids and the octopus are always favorites. The wine list is all-Italian and truly phenomenal, but prices are generally high (no surprise in Vegas). The quartinos (250 ml, or one-third of a bottle) of wine are a good value for those looking for good wine at reasonable prices. The sommeliers and wine service are excellent. Our latest visit was on a Sunday and the staff seemed inexperienced - timing was a little awkward.
I found the experience to be a bit stifling, but I think that's the scope of B&B restaurant in Las Vegas. The serving staff were kind. The setting was like all Italian restaurants - warm, comforting and calm. The win selection was vast. The menu was a great selection, sounded amazing. The food portions were larger than expected, much saltier than expected and overall not as amazing as expected. I think B&B caters to the American palette of large, over-salted and fancy - nothing we were looking for. Maybe it's a Vegas thing?
Our server was pleasant and attentive.
Pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was 10 out of 10.
The Tiramisu was the highlight of our meal.
No complain, will definitely be back.
