    Ok…..for perspective, thanks to Mounjaro, I’ve lost about 80-90 lbs. over the past year or so…..and I can’t eat like I used to which is a good thing……so please know that since I hadn’t really eaten much the day before dining at B&B, I was coming in quite hungry yet realizing by the time I left that my eyes were far bigger than my stomach, so please know that going into this review. I arrived at 6:45 on a Sunday….good time choice…..the place fills up quick. Justin was a wonderful waiter…..I love the white coats and ties that the staff wears…..general manager also came through multiple times and greeted guests and asked how their meals were…..very impressed! To start…..great cocktails…..my Old Fashioned was excellent…..I normally only order two…..last night, because it was perfectly made, I ordered a third…..delicious! My bone-in ribeye was tasty but a little on the tough side….thus the 4/5 for food quality. The bread service with sprinkled rosemary was OUT OF THIS WORLD…..a MUST HAVE so don’t pass it up! I ordered two…..the honey butter and German mustard butter were AWESOME!!!!! Wedge salad was cold, crisp, and delicious……the fried salted pork had a candied flavor and were wonderful!!! Perfect salad! Creamed spinach, hash brown potatoes, and mushrooms were very good as well! I ordered the Baked Texas for dessert with coffee…..let the flambé burn for about a minute or so before extinguishing it…..I blew mine out a bit too soon and the residual rum left on the meringue and praline ice cream was a bit strong still…..but it still was a very good dessert…..next time, I would get the Berry Butter Cake which was my other choice. Also, the Chocolate Truffle Cake with seven layers was being served to a party two tables down from me…..it looked awesome too!! Coffee was so good…..I had two cups! I had a reservation at Vic and Anthony’s but it wasn’t for the time frame I had desired so I cancelled in favor of B&B…..100% the right choice!!!! You’ll love it!

    We went to B&B Butchers for a date night with friends and had an incredible experience. The service was truly wonderful. Our server was prompt, attentive, and had impeccable etiquette. Staff even remembered the little details about each of our orders, which made the meal that much more enjoyable. The cocktails were perfectly crafted and added to the great atmosphere. Highly recommend for a special night out!

    Excellent. Service was for a party of 7. Caviar service was top notch. Zero complaints. This was our 4th x dining there. Some in our group were 1st timers.

    Usually a terrific spot for steaks for a celebratory occasion, but this time we had a mishap with the wrong steaks being sent out and food being cold. Not sure we would come back again so quickly.

    Food was ok, I expected much better. Food didn’t taste that great to me. Maybe because they put a spin on their sides and there ranch dressing was definitely not to my liking

    Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Houston and in Fort Worth. Steaks are incredible and the Beef Wellington is the star of the show! Always the best service from the hostess to the wait staff. Tables in Houston are a little close together but it’s just part of the vibe there and we love it!!

    We have been customers of BB Butchers since the original opening. Steak quality has always been above average(in terms of true steakhouse meats) but this time was so bad that my wife couldn’t even eat over 2 bites of her American Wagyu filet and my Prime bone in NY strip was tough as well. Sadly I literally have had MUCH better Choice graded grocery store meats. It was VERY dry and tough especially for a filet. It was ordered medium rare and should have been very juicy, flavorful and tender but it was NONE OF THE ABOVE. Not a single drop of juices on the plate. I ordered a Prime bone in NY strip medium and it was very juicy but was also VERY tough to the point of challenging to cut. For an appetizer we had their famous carpet bagger oysters which are always a huge hit and the flavor did not disappoint but they were just BARELY lukewarm. For sides we had the bread service(fantastic and highly recommend came out steaming), creamed spinach and lobster macaroni and cheese. The creamed spinach came out lukewarm warm and had a significant amount of lobster meat but again BARELY lukewarm warm. The creamed spinach, which is always a favorite cake out BARELY lukewarm. The only thing that remotely saved the entire experience was the service which was FANTASTIC as was the wine and after dinner cocktails. They removed the steaks from our bill even though I expressed that we were NOT looking for any comp. Overall sadly a definite will not return.
