Just one of my favorite places.
Excellent Brunch experience. The server was very attentive and hospitable.
Mentioned about a birthday in my reservation nothing was done about it. But food was great and servers were nice But could be a lot better.
It was our anniversary dinner and everyone made us feel special from start to finish! We love this restaurant and will definitely come back for future special occasions. Only negative is that the restaurant is always very noisy, but that did not detract from our excellent experience.
I had to remind them after the fact is was my friends birthday when they were told and acknowledged twice.
Great service! Awesome food!
The rib eye and the beef wellington were amazing! Will go again.
Delicious food. Everything we had was incredible. Aged ribeye, wagyu ribeye, corn soufflé, BLT salad....yum!!
This staff is engaging and when we asked questions about anything and everything, they were very informative. The food is outstanding. The ambience is perfect. This is my favorite restaurant in Houston.
3 business lunches here so far and I think this may be my go to spot. Great food, very professional staff and plenty of space between tables( which is rare nowadays). Talked to the manager for a bit while waiting on dessert and complimented him on a well run establishment. Emphasis on customer service becoming nonexistent these days so this location is refreshing.
Delicious appetizer and steaks. (And dessert!). Great service from David. A little loud downstairs but a definite great vibe. When it’s not so warm outside, ask for an upstairs table (inside or outside) because there’s a great view of the city.
Went for date night. Food amazing and service as well but everyone else there seemed to be on a work dinner.
Read a lot of positive comments about B&B that piqued our interest, but our family was not impressed. One and done. Not worth a second try. Oh, and for the waiter that hit on our daughter on her way to the loo....really?
Great food great service. Wonderful experience. Want to go back again and again.
I have had several great experiences but this one was subpar. My salmon was not cooked and it took 10 minutes to bring a new plate while my lunch partner had no better option but to eat by himself. The service was otherwise very attentive.
Very loud for a business lunch talking across the table.
I love B&B Butchers! The food is outstanding and the setting is great for professional as well as personal dining experiences. Richard was an excellent server.
Our table didn’t have a table cover compared to the others. No knife, fork or napkins. Had to ask for these items. Waiter was a little MIA at times. Mac yuck! Steak was good, but the presentation could have been better.
We thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to coming back for the brunch experience. We had also reserved the shuttle bus and that worked very well.
Our Granddaughter is from Lubbock Texas and when she comes to visit us, it’s hands down her Favorite place! Brought her for the first time 2 yrs ago when she was 13!! We Love Everything about B&B!!!
Great place and food. Wishes they offered some of their dinner Wagyu entrees for lunch.
Everything was great except the steak. It was chewy and over cooked.
Very very good
OMG.....the whole experience was absolutely phenomenal! Especially the VALET SERVICE, they went above and beyond the call of duty to help a damsel in distress! You guys are the REAL MVP's of the establishment!!!!!
Father’s Day Dinner! Amazing hospitality and, as always, the best steaks. We had beef Wellington, Filet, corn soufflé, half/half fries/onion rings for the kids, and mushrooms. All great with no room left for dessert.
We took my dad there for Father's day our server was amazing and the food was exquisite!
We visited for Father's Day and had a somewhat satisfying dining experience. The Bone-In Chicken Shank, Filet Mignon and Bone-in Ribeye were tasty and tender. However, the Rigatoni alla Vodka was a bit disappointing. I did not taste the smoked bacon at all and it lacked sauce which unfortunately made the pasta dry. I was quite surprised at this dish because it is listed under the Suggestions.
Our waiter was very nice but seemed a bit rushed when attending our table which would have made the dining experience a bit more enjoyable.
Really enjoyed our Father's day brunch. Good food and good service.
Our Father’s Day brunch was an average experience. We waited for our table despite a reservation. We ordered two burgers (medium) which were both cooked incorrectly (very well done). The service was as good as can be expected on a busy Sunday. We likely won’t return as we were disappointed in our food.
Meat in carpetbaggers was a bit dry and seemed to be overlooked. Otherwise, delicious!
Great food and excellent service. Will definitely be back.
Fathers Day and Birthday
Helpful wait staff with good recommendations!
While I thought that the steak was good, I was more impressed with the mac-cheese and creamed spinach.
Steak could have had more seasoning. For the amount I spent the table area is to crowded. I couldn't pull my seat back without bumping someone else and the noise level made it difficult to carry on a conversation. Table of 4 over $600.00, I'm expecting more.
Reservation at 7:00. Got seated at 7:30 upstairs in a makeshift table where all waitstaff passed by at top of stairs and they had to turn sideways to get by.. Wrong drinks brought, 2 steaks were cooked medium rare when medium well were ordered. 3 desserts the table ordered came out at different times. I will never go back or will never recommend this restaurant
Appetizers were great, though...
The food and service were wonderful. For a group of friends wanting to catch up, it was too noisy.
First visit to this establishment. Food was acceptable, but I would not say outstanding. The slab bacon appetizer was one of the highlights of the meal. I would not recommend the calamari as it was somewhat tasteless and soggy. My wife had the Beef Wellington and did enjoy it. My daughter had the filet and I the Wagyu ribeye. Both of these steaks were cooked as ordered and were very good.
For dessert we had the chocolate cake and key lime pie. Both were ok.
I felt the chairs in the inside area upstairs were very uncomfortable and that given the prices charged for the food here they could do better.
I believe folks should try this place and judge for themselves. It has a very high rating on yelp and open table. I just didn't see it. I think there are other steak places in Houston that have steaks just as good or better.
Friends had recommended B&B and we were excited about our reservation. Our favorite special night out has been Pappa’s Steak on Westheimer for 5 years. The Sommelier has always helped us with a good bottle of wine. Our waiter was Ryan, off putting and wanted to bring our appetizer with our drinks before a bottle of wine.
I asked him for recommendations and all he could recommend was the waugu steak because of its price. I asked him about the sliced skirt steak and he said it was chewy and I wouldn’t like it. We asked him 3 times for lemon for our water and he blamed the wait staff. Not acceptable. The person that brought us bread, water etc was far more professional. He kept apologizing for the mistakes which he had nothing to do with. The waiter was clearly a bully. He never came to the table to ask us how our meal was. It was all about feeding us and getting us out for the next customer.
I would NOT recommend this restaurant.
The flavor of the "free" bread was poor. My steak tasted good but the bone-in ribeye had no cap, was cut from the undesirable end of the ribeye, and finding meat among the fat was challenging. Since the cut was NOT premium, I was left with a large bone. With the topping, the steak alone was over $100.00. Ridiculous.
For the sides we ordered corn chowder, garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. They were good, but not superb, however the mashed potatoes were excellent ($18!). But let's face it, it's difficult to mess up garlic mashed potatoes.
The chairs were extremely uncomfortable. You're sitting on a flat piece of wood with no contour or padding to make them comfortable. If you are forced to eat here, sit at the booth.
This restaurant is hideously expensive. Lunch for three, with one drink each and two glasses of wine, was $470.00, and we didn't order the expensive steaks. Shocking.
The service was good as one would expect from an establishment with such lofty pricing. I won't be back.
