B&B Butchers & Restaurant - Fort Worth
Book your next event with us
A little pricey but worth it. The service was superb. The steak was delicious and I highly recommend the Mac n cheese. It’s not like any one else’s in town. I had an Oscar style filet from the restaurant week menu. It would have been fantastic without the sauce, cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed our salads as well. I suggest you don’t eat the bread because these courses are large portions. I enjoyed it so much that I already made reservations again.
Having eaten numerous times at the B & B Butchers location in Houston I was pleasantly surprised to find a location in Ft. Worth on a recent business trip. Food and service were excellent and similar to the excellent food and service I have had previously in Houston. Our waiter David was very accommodating of letting me and my business colleague chat for a while before ordering. My prime rib was cooked perfectly Medium as requested and I really enjoyed the Popover that came with it. Also, my shrimp cocktail shrimp were huge ! Overall an enjoyable business dinner.
They really seem to want their customers to be pleased with their dining experience.
Everything we ordered was delicious! Steak medallions, Pork chop & sirloin. All perfectly cooked and out in a timely manner. Service was fast & waitress was pleasant. Would definitely go back!
The food was fantastic. Not a single disappointment at our table of four. The service was solid.
Great food and great service. We will definitely be back.
Meal was exceptional. Service lackluster. Seated in a booth that was very loud due to the fact others are surrounded by you. Waiter forgot salad and was somewhat friendly. For the price, I want a wow experience, Which sadly we did not get.
This restaurant is very expensive. When the capital grille and del friscos are less expensive..well that’s high. When I booked it it had two dollar signs, said under$30. We went with another couple and it was just silly. After we paid $43 for our two appetizers we decided to go somewhere else. Would have all been fine if it had shown us 4 dollar signs. Then we would know. Needs to be updated
Amazing food, amazing service! Highly recommend!
7:30 pm reservation. Ordered promptly. Received steak at 8:45. Steak was very fatty and definitely not worth the price to me. Not impressed at all.
We had a party of 15 for my husband's birthday. We were looking for a delicious meal and this place did not disappoint! Everyone had a wonderful time and the food was incredible! We all left full and happy.
B&B Butcher and Restaurant is a great spot to celebrate a special event. The food is comforting while still having a unique flair. The steaks are exceptional and the chicken fried pork chop is great. The service was outstanding and very attentive. Enjoyable all around.
Second time to this restaurant. First time I had the filet, this time I had a burger. Both times the meat was totally bland/tasteless. And my companions agreed both times.
We original had an issue with our steak, however the manger of B&B Darren step up and really toook good cared of us, will be back for sure and give another try in the near future.
End of year dinner with good friends
We had the best experience at dinner last night! The food is amazing, outstanding service, and exceptional wines! Yum!
For our anniversary, my wife and I decided to try a new restaurant. For special occasions, we always eat at 5 star restaurants and almost always order ribeye steaks. First of all, the service was great but that was about it for this restaurant. Compared to other high-end restaurants in Fort Worth, our steaks were bland, poor quality, & over-valued. I've ordered steaks at a handful of other similar restaurants that are so much more flavorful and yet comparable in price. The two sides we ordered, broccoli and corn souffle, were very good. Despite excellent service and two managers checking on us during the meal, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. My wife and I will not be back.
We have been to B&B for several times, and their steaks are quite consistently good. Thus, I am a bit more confident to try their 55-day dry-aged wagyu bone-in ribeye steak in their "cellar cut" section.
It certainly does not disappoint. The texture is smooth and tender, but more importantly, the favor is strong but not overpowering. Borrowed from the wine lingo, there is quite a bit of "nose" before I even cut into it. My son ordered the standard (non-wagyu) dry-aged bone-in ribeye and we have a point of reference. The wagyu version is noticeably superior.
To be fair, B&B is probably in the middle of the pack, compared to other fancy restaurants, for other stuff like appetizers, sides and what-not. But the beef really shines here, and this becomes our go-to place if we want good steaks.
It was great like always!
We came for the steak and we were not disappointed. Awesome service to boot!
Brunch 2.0 was excellent and back to the standard we know from B&B! Nicole was excellent (as usual) and the food, as always, was fabulous! Thanks for an awesome pre-holiday brunch celebration with my parents!
Drinks and dinner with my wife. Drinks were a little pricey but very generous pour. Drinks at dinner were equally tasty. The appetizer was very good. Service seemed a little chaotic. Definitely felt rushed. The kicker happened when one server spilled the water glass on the table soaking my pants. He did apologize but it didn't feel that sincere. Went ahead and ordered dessert and coffee. Half expected it to be comp'd since I was still soaking wet. It wasn't though and no other mention of the incident even when the bill arrived. We both felt rushed throughout and at these prices, that's not a good feeling.
Close to other attractions
Blown away by the food and service. I will definitely go back everything was perfect.
Excellent waitstaff offered many food and wine recommendations that were outstanding! Atmosphere was perfect for our date night. Highly recommend the “Bacon Three Ways” as an appetizer and the wagyu filet!
We keep coming back. Great food and drinks with top notch service. A real pleasure!
Off night, steak not tasty and service was rushed, main course arrived while we were still eating our salad.
Great for a special occasion date.
Excellent steak in Fort Worth. It is right at the top of my list along with Del Frisco's.
My husband & I are frequent patrons of this restaurant. The food is excellent as the service is usually stellar as well. We brought our children for an early holiday brunch and had told them how great this restaurant would be. The food was (once again) excellent! But the service was awful. My son didn’t receive his drink for nearly an hour...then they poured water in his lemonade to “refill.” We asked three times for bread while waiting to order appetizers. We had finished appetizers before she even returned for our main brunch order...then the worst of it...the youngest’s meal order had been completely overlooked. That came out after the rest had nearly finished. Never had such poor service...not the usual at all for this otherwise excellent establishment.
While the restaurant was extremely accommodating for a party of 9 including 2 small children, the food was average. Of the 8 brunch dishes ordered , half of us were pleased with our choices and half were dissatisfied. For the price I expected every meal to be unique and of high quality. On the uniqueness scale I would give them a 7 out of 10 but on the quality scale I would give them a 4 out of 10. Bottom line is we wont be going back any time soon. We have now eaten at both the Houston and Fort Worth locations and while it may be a place " to see and be seen" it is not a place for the 5 star dining experience that their prices would indicate.
Our son chose this restaurant to celebrate his graduation from TCU. For the most part the food was very good. The bread basket, bacon three ways appetizer, and shrimp cocktail were wonderful to starts to the meal. The sides of mashed potatoes, and asparagus were excellent, however, my husband's baked potato was hard. The average part of the meal to us was the actual steak. The bone-in aged ribeye was good but not great but the addition of foie gras to my son's filet was delicious. I would recommend the key lime pie over the chocolate cake, very refreshing.
First time going for lunch and it was just as awesome as dinner. I did the Butcher’s Butter Ribeye, which literally melts in your mouth, but they have a lot of sandwich, burger, and deli selections at a good price point. My two favorite things that remain the same— Lety taking care of us and the corn soufflé. Thank you for a lovely birthday lunch!
My husband and I dined here for our wedding anniversary. From the moment we sat down they made the occasion special- from the complimentary Prosecco at the start of our dining experience to the complimentary dessert slices of an amazing cheesecake and a chocolate layer cake. The food was very good and the wait staff were as attentive and gracious as possible even though the restaurant was quite busy with large parties and a private event on the upper level. Thank you so much for a great anniversary dinner!
The place is a lovely space. The food not so much. I ordered a 22 ounce bone in ribeye rare with warm center. It came out cold and flavorless. This is the second time this has happened to me. The wife got the 10 oz filet and it was outstanding. The other dinner got the prime rib and was good but they commented that they wish they would have put the au jus on the side instead on the prime rib sitting and soaking up the au jus making it very salty.
Also, the carts to serve meals is not a good look in a small dinning room. It blocks the pathways and people have to go out of their way to get to tables because of the blockage. I even had a server bump our table moving it and nothing was said to us or acknowledge it happened. That is unacceptable.
My suggestion is only get the filet and discard the other choices of meats as bb either doesn’t know how to cook their steaks or has less than competent kitchen staff.
It’s a shame as I really want to love this place but for the type of charges and results there are better places in town for the same price point they have much better meals.
Dad’s birthday. Staff was very attentive and food was great.
Wonderful cut of steak!!
Enjoyed every part of our meal from the wine to the desert. Ryan was more than helpful and made our dinner a culinary delight. We will be back!!
Christmas gathering with friends
Over priced and over hyped. $82 for 10 oz of what was not that impressive.
This has been the finest dining experience we’ve had in Fort Worth. Our Front Waiter, Derek, was exceedingly professional and knowledgeable. Probably the best single service staff interaction I’ve ever had.
The food was also amazing, and though the prices might come as a surprise, there is real value at each level of the menu, and I think it’s possible to have a great experience at either end of the spectrum.
Do not miss the corn soufflé.
