Food was excellent Had lunch with old friend ,hadn’t seen for awhile a wonderful spot to relax and catch up. Waitress was very considerate and didn’t interrupt any more than necessary thank you
Anita was our server and she was great! Also, the manager checked on us many times and made sure we felt special for our anniversary celebration.
Great food. We all enjoyed the lobster and brie omelet. Highly recommended. Our server, Ray, was very helpful.
We've had minor issues in the past here (hair in a salad), but nothing like those we encountered this evening. I can begin my review by saying the evening was saved by our waitress, Anita. Without her, dinner would have been a complete disaster. our cheese tray called for honeycomb. We received honey from the kitchen. The snapper was supposed to have cauliflower. It had none. The pork chop was delivered cold and was sent back. When we asked what was taking so long for its return, we were told the plate broke in the oven (the chef clearly was just reheating the cold chop). When the chop was delivered, it was hot but overcooked. The chef came out to apologize but came across as completely insincere with perfunctory comments. Anita repeatedly apologized (though none of this was her fault). She comped both entrees and provided a dessert. Absent Anita, Azurea appears to be in dire straits. The restaurant needs s new chef, or the current chef needs a swift kick in the rear.
I’m sorry but this place is in an excellent location on the beach and it’s very nice but service for lunch was very bad . 25 minutes before we received our drinks . The chicken dish I ordered was in two small pitas and the first pita I bit into was just horrible . It’s was a big chunk of fatty grizzle and had a dark color to it and it was half cooked . I understand mistakes happen but how could anyone think that was edible to eat !!
My wife’s 9 dollar salad had zero love in it and was basically a 9.00 plate of a SMALL handful of greens with no dressing , well maybe a teaspoon and it had two cucumbers that were paper thin . Yes that’s it for 9.00...
My sister had a lobster roll sandwich . The STAR of the sandwich was the stale bread because the lobster I think they forgot to put on the sandwich . Seriously guys get it together ! You have a gorgeous place and I can’t tell you what a let down the meal was . I still tipped 30% even though service was ok wasn’t happy how long it took to get our first drink order but after that service flowed ok but food quality was horrible !
Celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Staff could not have been friendlier; Ryan, our waiter, was amazing. Our wonderful desserts were comped for our occasion.
Went there for the first time for a date. Place was recommended by a friend . Our dinner reservations were for a Sunday evening . Over all our experience was good including the food but from the description we read about we expected higher end experience .
The only real complaint that we could list was the staff did not seem very friendly . Everyone from the valet to the hostess to the waiter did not seem like they either enjoyed their jobs or wanted to be at work that day . That kind of killed the evening for us . We would go back if we were in the beaches area looking for a nicer place for dinner but not willing to drive 45 minutes to have dinner there again . Personally , we just expected over the top service when having dinner at a location like that . Hopefully next time it’s different.
Restaurant prides themselves on fresh, high quality ingredients and they deliver: the seafood tower was among the freshest, best tasting I have had in various restaurants around the country. Bone in filet was good, in need of a splash more bordelaise sauce. Nice wine list. The attentive, authentic service is probably one of the best among the nicer spots in NE FL .....Bravo Ryan and thanks for a job well done.
Great brunch food
Fantastic restaurant for many reasons. Food, service, ambiance, all were perfect for my wife’s birthday dinner. Didn’t know the Chef needs at least 24 hrs to prepare the “Adventurous Palate” experience, but the Chef worked out something for us which was exquisite!
Our server, Ryan, was talented and thoughtful. If not for his initiative, we’d have missed out on a truly memorable dining experience!
From the lamb & tenderloin, to the crab/snapper & scallops, everything was perfection. The Chef was even able to reduce some salt for my wife, since she’s on a restricted diet. We also had salad & a prawn starter. And we finished with a dessert that was to die for!
It was the best 2.5 hours we’ve spent in Jacksonville!
Food was average with no real flavor. Best part of the meal was the bread.
My Mom and I were having a girls weekend and chose this restaurant. We were glad we did. The drinks were awesome on the patio, then we went inside for dinner. The food was excellent along with the service. Anita (our waitress) was very attentive and made a great recommendation for a wine to pair with both of our fish dishes. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Staff went the extra mile to make it a great experience
We are here on vacation, staying locally, found this gem. We were here twice. Each time was fantastic. We were fortunate to have Tiffani, our waitress, twice; she was beyond phenomenal. Friendly, pleasant, and outgoing. She gave us various places to go and see. We are a family with particular ordering and she was so patient and fun with us. She frequently checked on us during our dining experiences. She and the bartender, I believe his name was John, are and excellent team. They both went out of their way for myself and my family. Great espresso martini. You should be very proud of them. They are great for your business. Also, every employee we met from the valet to employees passing us in walkways were polite and acknowledge our presence. Fantastic customer service, which you really find these days. Great job. Superb experiences. One Ocean should be proud of themselves. Thank you for a wonderful time and memories

The level of service is excellent. I mentioned it was my boyfriend's birthday and the whole staff for that night signed a card for him. There was also a free sampling of watermelon and cheese. The cocktails were a bit sweet, but my boyfriend liked his. When it came time to order wine, I was set on a pinot gris, but the server recommended a great chardonnay that I never would've picked, but really enjoyed. They also brought out not one, but two, cakes at the end of our meal because I'm allergic to nuts and the usual cake they bring has nuts. It made for a very special birthday meal.

We had 2 of the meals (out of three) arrive cold. This situation was rectified in no time. The chef came out and apologized and the meals were comped. Overall still love the restaurant and will definitely make a return visit.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff, and the food. The ambiance and décor was beautiful. If we are in the area again we will definitely return.
WOW, I was pleasantly surprised at what a nice experience this was. I have been here before for brunch and dinner a number of years ago and while those were good experiences, this was much nicer. The service was impeccable and the food, with the small exception of the Creme Brûlée, was fabulous! The rest of the group had great ice cream and sorbet but the Creme Brûlée was not hard on the top and the basil flavor was overpowering. The rest of the meal was exceptional, especially the Cobia three ways and the Sea Bass. The view is stunning. Such a great spot. We will be back soon. Thanks!
Azurea was incredible! Fined for an anniversary and we were floored with how friendly and willing everyone was during the evening. The chef even had really good gluten free bread and spreads, creative dishes, and great desserts. Hannah was one of the best servers I have met, can’t say enough good things about her!

We waited a long time after being seated to see our server, due to an apparent mix-up. Once she (Anita) came, the attentiveness and professionalism she displayed were excellent. The restaurant asked us if we were there on a special occasion, which we were, and then took extra efforts to help us celebrate. Overall, we had a superb experience once the initial hiccup was dealt with.
we really just wanted a place near the ocean, and this was a great choice. free valet parking; ocean access from the restaurant; nice ambiance; good choices, not too expensive; attentive waitstaff and at one point the chef came out to answer questions that we had about some of the items. Would not hesitate to go again.
I brought my cousin who came in from Long Island and was so happy she liked it as much as I did. She ordered the brick chicken dish and I had filet mig. It was perfect. Seriously delicious. The chef came out and introduced himself and chatted for a bit!
We waited a long time before we were acknowledged by our server although she was pleasant and accommodating once she came by. The chicken and waffles were not that great. All the breading came off of the chicken when I tried to cut it, and the meat was dry. The waffle was just ok, kind of chewy. The beignets were very heavy like a cake doughnut and the crab cakes Benedict wasn’t really a Benedict. There was no English muffin to it, just a bed of collards. It was just an underwhelming way to spend our fifth anniversary. We had our wedding brunch there five years ago and it was a whole different place. Not sure what happened! Will try again.
Everything was amazing. I would like bigger portions. Great atmosphere, service, food, and drink. We will be back.
Seriously awesome! Good, service, sitting out at the beach!!! The bread and accompaniments are awesome, the sea bass and mixed grill are awesome, the key lime pie is small, artsy and awesome! Ryan, Tia, Anita...all awesome!

Went for Sunday brunch. First collard greens I’ve ever enjoyed eating! Sometimes it felt like the servers forgot about us, but they were excellent when present. We sat outside and the most noise was the rolling waves.
Service was mediocre. We were seated right next to a big, very loud group when the restaurant was relatively empty. Fish was over cooked. Flavors were off. No one could recommend any kind of legitimate wine pairing. Not the place it used to be.
We were here for our 25th Anniversary- everything was wonderful!! Great service, friendliness and tasty food. Crab cakes were the best we’ve had, the filet and striped bass was so good! Cocktail were to perfection!!
Unfortunately my entre was cold and husband’s steak rare. The soup was delicious.
Great dinner again. Burratta salad was phenomenal, scallops just right. Best part of dinner was complimentary birthday dessert presented to my date by Hannah. I love this place more every time I come in.
We have dined here before and loved it. We had another date there this year and hopefully look to get married here!
This restaurant was amazing. Anita, Mor, Jerome and Aaron were friendly, attentive and professional. It was the best food we’ve had in years.
We started the evening at the Lobby Bar of One Ocean. Doug, AKA Dr. Doug, makes amazing cocktails. He is gifted and creative with his drink creations. Met a nice couple planning to move to the area soon and exchanged numbers. We always meet nice people and strike up great conversations at the lobby bar. We then moved to Azurea for dinner. took a few minutes to be greeted, but were taken to a nice table, as well as given the option to wait for other options, which was nice. Had the crab cake appetizer which was very good. Bread and an assortment of tasty toppings/spreads were provided as well. Our server was very nice, though her name escapes me now. My wife ordered the Paella risotto, which took a borderline ridiculous amount of time to create. That was the only issue I had with the evening. I don't expect in and out, but from seated till entrees arrived was close to 1.5 hrs. The Maître d even came to assure us things would be coming soon. The dish was delicious. I had the Mixed seafood grill with a very unique seafood sausage. Very tasty and fresh seafood. Too full for dessert.
