AZUR restaurant & patio was designed after European establishments providing the feel of being in a different place without leaving Lexington. The food is described as new American and Heirloom Contemporary. The chefs react to what comes at them from the local markets making our cuisine locally influenced, but worldly inspired. The walls are bold blues and greens with curves throughout. The interior space flows outside through three sets of French doors onto the elegant stone bordered brick patio. Weather permitting, the patio is opened and the patio sides could be lowered for inclement weather.

Six of us eat lunch out together every three months. This was the first time we eat together at Azur's. We were there on a Monday and almost had the restaurant to ourselves. Everyone liked their entre, and the same for desserts. We lingered for a long time, and felt no pressure to leave. Thank you to Azur's for a very pleasant experience.

This was our first time to Azur and Brandon was our server. It was a relaxing atmosphere. Brandon explained the specials but we ended up having the Mozzarella Chicken and the Shrimp. We also had the cheese plate with salads. Each course was unique and enjoyable. The house salad and dressing were abolosultey amazing. When it came to our entrees, the portions were a decent size, neither of us could finish our entrees after having the cheese tray and salads. After having such great experiences with the other courses, we finished with the Bread Pudding. We bragged about our meal to friends that evening and at work. Thank you for a great meal, we will be back for sure.

Finally made it back to Azur for date night on a recent Saturday. We were regulars when they opened and the atmosphere and their food is still excellent. We shared our rib eye and cauliflower "steak" entrees at the table and found everything delightful. Kudos to Chef Jeramie and the kitchen staff. We also enjoyed the acoustic guitarist - he had a perfect song list. The wine selection is good - our Sonoma County Cab was top notch. Also a thank you to Doug - The wait staff is very attentive and non-intrusive. We will not wait so long for our next visit.

AZUR was a great experience, one of the finer places to eat or that I have ate at since moving to Lexington, Tho the service in the beginning wasn’t quite to the Tee due to our sever have multiple tables.. the food and presentation were awesome, and the special made this a solid food outing.

Been about 3 or 4 times. The food is always excellent and the cocktails are pretty good too. It is a bit pricey, but totally worth it if you can swing it. Oh, and they switch up their menu fairly often so chances are you'll find something new to love each time you go.

Loved it. Was pretty crowded and it took awhile for the food but it was worth the wait. Nice specials Wait staff was helpful and accommodating. Liked the flexibility with the menu

It was great as always. A bit more busy than normally and therefore more noise. However, it did not impact the quality of food or service. Our server was great and accommodated our requests wonderfully! Highly recommended.

Normally I am satisfied at AZUR but I got a very bad piece of fish either under cooked or over cooked. It was hard to tell. I should have sent it back but didn’t have time.

When my associate and I arrived at Azur at noon on Saturday for this reservation, the restaurant was closed and dark, with no notice on the door about why they were not open. This was embarrassing to me, as I had set up the meeting.

Traveling thru Lexington and tired, realized this was one of the places we could walk to. The food was well rated and it looked nice so we took a gamble. Amazing wait staff were very attentive. The place was packed and as a bonus there was a very good live jazz trio. My gluten free partner was able to trade out the mac and cheese with his incredible pork chop for Brussel sprouts with garlic. I had tenderloin medallions, which were perfectly done exactly as i like them. Good extensive wine list. After dinner my partner got a flight of local Kentucky bourbons, which he thoroughly enjoyed. What a great surprise when a travel necessity turns out to be a great date night!

It was a very busy night, perhaps due to a citywide restaurant week. We opted for the specials. The fried chicken was terribly undercooked and was comped by the restaurant. The roast beef entree was "ok".

The room is small and could not handle the music venue. Way too loud. We probably will not return.

Went for the Comfort Food Week and had fried chicken which was tasty and moist, if a bit over cooked. Spouse had pot roast which she reported was excellent. The oysters Rockefeller appetizer was perfect and the desert of peach and blackberry cobbler a la mode was to die for. Service was excellent. We will return for their regular menu as it’s always a treat.
