Welcome to Azul Rooftop Lounge -- the highest rooftop bar in Austin, TX!

We are 21+ rooftop bar + lounge. During the month of December we host our signature holiday pop-up, "Yule at Azul". Expect festive cocktails, seasonal bites from Stella San Jac and the best holiday views of downtown Austin!

Azul is on the 20th floor of the Westin Austin Downtown, and can be accessed via elevator. Say hi to the front desk to obtain a key card for your journey up!


We offer a 15-min grace period for reservations; don’t hesitate to give us a call if you are running late.

    The food options are limited to a partial menu from the Stella San Jac downstairs so don't expect a good selection BUT the views are incredible! We celebrated my wife's birthday and it was very quiet and romantic. We had our first date night canceled because of rain because it's an entirely outdoor venue so maybe make reservations in two places in case of inclement weather BUT this should be your first choice! We were able to go the second night and were not disappointed! Insider information: check in at the front desk at the Westin because they will need to give you a temporary elevator card to get to the 20th floor. When you get off the elevator, go into the pool area! Azul is NOT well marked to be able to find it. We relied on the help of others to find it and we helped two people on our way out! It can be windy at any time of the year so bring a light jacket.

    Made a dinner reservation at 7:30 and was told the kitchen was closed for the season after we were seated. No notice on the website. They did get us some food with a VERY limited menu from the restaurant downstairs which was mediocre for a Westin restaurant. We ate using plastic utensils. Served my wine in a plastic cup which they also had to get from the 1st floor (Azul is on floor 20)! We were told that we could not sit by the fire pit as those tables were reserved for large parties of which there were none. There was a party of 3 sitting at one fire pit and no one sitting at the other one. Huge disappointment in all areas except for the view. A lot of potential with the Austin skyline but what a dud. Won’t be back.

    We didn’t eat but stopped by for a drink. It was very relaxing but is mostly a pool bar with some nice seating and a view.

    Casual rooftop eats. Went for my friend's birthday to meet up before dinner. Beautiful view. The guac was meh but salsa and corn dips with chips were fire. Salad was decent. I'm a vegetarian so can't say much about the limited taco offerings. Service was sweet.

    Their kitchen was closed which was surprising because it’s a beautiful bar- would have liked some finger food. Cocktails were wonderful.

    They didnt let us in because we have kids and our planed ruined even we had invited guests. There was no post about kids free area in their website earlier to my reservation! We just got embarrassed in front of our guests!

    Coming earlier in day is a great experience. Not sure about how it is at night. But great view facing south (toward the river).

    We had a ball, I made a reservation for 6 @ 530, they seated us right away. The atmosphere is on point w great views of the city. The drinks were good but the food is very expensive with limited offerings. I would suggest going for drinks and eating food somewhere else! Great staff and shout out to “Mo” !

    It was nice! All about the view. We were there in the late afternoon. Food wasn’t available until we were an hour in to our gathering. Would have liked some snacks with beverages. All in all worth it for a celebratory gathering.

    Really nice view. The staff was nice but it wasn’t busy and we still waited for drinks and for food. Wish the seating was a bit more updated.

    Reserved an igloo so we had to wait a short time for them to clean it which was fine. Once it was ready they just said it’s ready. They didn’t offer a menu tell us where to go how service works. So we wait 15 minutes and no one comes by so we go to the bar to order. Finally a server comes by and we let her know we ordered at the bar. Both the bartender and server are rude to us because we didn’t wait and ordered at the bar. We are suppose to have a minimum when we reserve the igloo and we only saw the the 3 times in 2 hours has to go to the bar twice to get our own drinks. The cocktails were subpar. Friends who were in town enjoyed the views but we will not be back.

    I was there on a Thursday night. We were shown to a pool bed and the view was amazing of the Austin skyline. However after getting our first drink delivered nobody came over for the rest of the time we were there. There was no food menu offered, we had to go up to the bar to get our check and ask to leave basically. Drink was average rooftop city spot price and fine the view was great but what the heck. Can’t review the food because we weren’t offered any?

    Great vibe and drinks! The igloo is definitely the way to go during Yule Azul, it’s very warm and cozy despite how cold it was outside. They also will do mocktail versions of their Christmas drinks if you request it! Their drinks were a little strong, so that was a nice alternative. Couple things they could improve on - playing Christmas music, since the music they had on was a little random. I noticed the snacks they offered weren’t really in theme either (guac, tacos, etc.). We also only received a 5 minute heads up that our reservation was ending, but we had just ordered another round of drinks - at least 15 minutes would’ve been preferred. Overall, a nice and cute spot to grab drinks/hang out during the Christmas season!

    We had a wonderful experience at Azul. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Ricardo was the absolute best and his recommendations were spot on with the food and drinks. Definitely a great girls night out!!!!

    The Yule at Azul Rooftop was amazing. Loved the ambience and was not crowded. Very well done. The service was amazing.
