Azuki Sushi never disappoints! The fish is super fresh and everything tastes amazing. You can tell they put a lot of care into every dish. The vibe is cozy but lively, and the service is always friendly and quick. Definitely recommend the specialty rolls — they’re packed with flavor and beautifully plated. Perfect spot for a casual night out or a sushi craving you want done right. One of my go-to places for sure!

The service was very efficient. We received our drink orders almost immediately. Our sushi rolls that we ordered came out quickly as well. We were able to get seated, order, and dine within about 30 minutes and not feel rushed.

I have been to many sushi restaurants including many in Japan! My impresión? A bit bland. This place has potential. Its not bad, but not excellent eather. Given other options in the city would not return. Good for just one time.

Food not as good as it used to be. Noticed a few new faces prepping the food.Bonsai roll this time around was very disappointing. Calamari and Shoshito peppers, way too oily. Service is always great!

We sat outside which unfortunately was a bit of a win tunnel, but my gosh, this is some of my favorite sushi in San Diego.

Recommend making a reservation, there were already people lined up before opening at 4pm. Food was very good, fresh and high quality sushi. Specials were worth it. Service was okay, no one checked on us after our food arrived until we were already on our last bite, but we got a surprise birthday dessert (ice cream) for free. Would come back!

Our daughter loves sushi and we decided to celebrate her 21st birthday at Azuki Sushi Lounge. I made reservations in February for a Monday night. We arrived promply at 7pm and were seated after less than 5 minutes. Menus and water were brought shortly. Our server was Isabel, who was amazing! She got our orders down in a timely manner and explained everything we ate. We had the chicken karaage with the spicy sauce, the Kakuni (A MUST!) and the calamari for appetizers. We shared the eel and avocado hand roll, On the Border roll, the Classic sashimi platter, the Salmon 4 ways, and the Cavier 3 ways (AMAZING!). For dessert, we had the stuffed banana and the Brown Butter mochi (A MUST!). It was an amazing dinner and we can't wait to return!
