Azou is an inviting restaurant on Chiswick’s busy King Street, winner of Ramsay's Best Restaurant, North African category, & awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand. Specialising in the cuisine of Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria, Azou’s menu contrasts sweet and spicy, bold and subtle, light and heavy with traditional dishes imbued with North African colour, flavour and texture. The restaurant is cosy and warm, decorated in a typically North African style, complete with lavishly embroidered upholstery and soft, colourful rugs, deep red painted arches and dimly glowing lanterns. Azou is full of character and charm.

If you are looking for traditional North African food this is your place! Came here with my husband for our anniversary and his birthday, we were in awe of the decor, ambience and the owner was an absolute delight, took time to come and talk to me and my partner! The food was faultless and my hubby is from Algeria and a chef!

I recommend Azou to all of my friends. It's our favorite restaurant and the one we return to again and again. The quality of the food is outstanding. The Constantine Tagine is just delicious and keeps us coming back again and again. Better than all other Tagines we have tried elsewhere. If we want Morrocan cuisine, we go to Azou, as the taste everywhere else has disappointed in comparison

We were seated in a corner so it was not noisy at all and we had a great view over the restaurant and its beautiful ceiling. We both had a couscous (lamb and merguez), it was excellent. Will definitely recommend this restaurant

Absolutely delightful in every way! Food was extremely delicious and the staff charming and helpful. The chef/owner came out and checked on everyone which was so sweet. We liked it so much we went back 2 days later. Unfortunately was just visiting London and am now sad that we don’t get to enjoy this place on a regular basis. Thank you for the wonderful experience, Azou!
