A fresh, modern sushi experience in the Bellaire Triangle featuring innovative Japanese cuisine from reknowned chef Yoshi Katsuyama.

Guests can expect to enjoy fresh fish daily in a vairety of nigiri, maki, and sashimi preparations alongside traditional Japanese favorites from the kitchen. Aya features an innovative cocktail program, as well as an extensive selection of wine, sake, and Japanese whisky.

For the full Aya experience, enjoy chef's multi-course omakase option alongside hand-selected pairings including sake and wine.

We have never been disappointed with our experience at Aya. The food is consistently excellent and the cocktails are next level. 3 years of wine spectator awards. Extensive saki and whisky selection. Yes its not in the heights or midtown or upper Kirby or post oak/galleria area but why not travel to a quiet safe corner of Bellaire for some of the best Japanese food your likely to find

We did the tasting menu, best decision for those like us who don’t know what they like/don’t like. The bites were beautifully presented and filled us up by the end of the tasting menu. Very tastefully decorated interior and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great experience overall!

I am sorry I didn’t take pictures, but every dish was beautifully plated . Happy Hour is a bargain for both food and drinks.

Possibly the most exotic and interesting menu in the city, especially if you go for the Omakase. Quality, effort, and innovation are on display here. Aya is a must-try for sushi lovers.

Happy Hour is a bargain. We tried some new things on the regular menu and it was delicious. Our server remembered us and our previous order. This is a gem in Bellaire.

I've taken friends to this restaurant many times over the past 2 1/2 years. I love most of the dishes. I unfortunately did not choose as well last night. Our server offered little advice and seemed to not be as attentive as others in our previous visits. As this was a first date with someone very special to me, I was disappointed. I had to often repeat requests and didn't get the amount of attention I would expect on a slow Sunday night.
