We have been to Autograph a few times in the past year and the food and service is excellent! Will be back.
Very accommodating staff. Beautiful , fun ambiance. Even Manager was taking care of us without asking. She agreed that they should have more vegan gluten-free options. They are working on it for the fall menu. Wish there was not a poor dead creature hanging in the main dining room. Otherwise decor is perfect.
Everything about this place was exceptional. The atmosphere, especially the beautiful patio, the service and the food were all excellent. Great wine list, too! My husband and I dined here for our anniversary, and they made sure to give us an awesome experience from the time we stepped inside until we left. Highly recommend!!
Second time dining in restaurant. First was in summer outside. Service was slow but bearable. This time service was awful and food was marginal. My wife's tangqueray and tonic was flat and had to be returned twice and she finally gave up and settled for a glass of wine. My steak fritte arrived at room temperature. Tasty but cold. Our waitress was very friendly, but it appeared the lack of service was out of her control. We will not return
Autograph never disappoints. The food and service was excellent!
The restaurant was known by it great food. After changed ownership I tried several times ordering different dishes. The last time I oredered frittes. The meat did not have any taste and the frittes were poorly done and most of it were very small cuts, burned.
On the other hand, I would suggest that the server informs the additional items for the day without mentioning prices. When we have invitees it is somewhat embarrassing.
The ambiance is great. The server were also great.
The staff at Autograph is obviously well trained as they welcomed us with a "Happy Anniversary" when we arrived and throughout the meal. Our waiter was engaging and very entertaining - he was very attentive and addressed our every need; bringing 2-glasses of champagne to toast the evening. The food was spectacular as we ordered the steak and halibut specials. We were impressed with the amazing taste and we eat out often, so my wife and I can make numerous comparisons.
We have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed!!!
It's in the former George's space, but totally renovated. When I made our reservations I specifically asked for a quiet table away from a servers station. We arrived exactly on time, we herded into a very crowded, noisy bar to wait, (we didn't), waited 20 minutes, were chided to take an outdoor table (we didn't) and were finally taken to a table next to where all the servers entered and exited to and from the kitchen! Our server was excellent. We shared the rather mundane caeser salad (which they did not split), I had the lobster fettuccine which was excellent and my husband the steak frite. He asked for it Pittsburgh rare. It was red on the inside but grey on the outside. He barely touched the fries. The chocolate caramel mouse for dessert was lovely. All in all the cost was just under $200 with a glass of wine each and one cocktail for my husband. For that price, the steak should have been Pittsburgh rare.
Excellent food, fast service. The bar area is very noisy and there are tables in the bar. If you want a more quiet dining experience, ask for one of the other rooms. Decor is very cool!
Had dinner with friends for my birthday . Food was great and staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely one of my new favorites.
The service and food was outstanding. I will be back and I will talk about this with all my friends. Amazing amazing amazing!!!!!
My meal was outstanding and the service was even better!
Although we made the restaurant aware ahead of time that we were celebrating a birthday, they sat my husband and I at a very small table in the very busy, loud bar. We could barely hear each other talk the whole time. I thought this was an inappropriate decision on behalf of the host, who greeted my husband with a “Happy Birthday”, and the restaurant itself did not seem that busy so I’m not sure why they felt like they could give us the short end of the stick. The food was excellent but overall we had a poor time. Service was fair to poor. A customer directly behind us got a drink spilled on them and made a HUGE scene for over ten minutes, interrupting our dinner as well as everyone else in the bar. No one from the restaurant came to apologize or see if any other patrons around the incident were ok.
The food was outstanding, service was great. If you're going out with your significant other and want a quiet evening, make sure to reserve the restaurant because they may seat you in the bar and it is very loud, depending the time of day/evening. Now that I know that, I will make sure to request a table not in the bar if it is just my wife and I, or if we are with friends we'll have no problem sitting in the bar area.
Got stuck next to a table of 8 noisy people making conversation difficult.
Had a birthday lunch on a weekday. The main dining room was busy, but we opted for the bar. There was only one other couple in the bar. The two ladies who were working that day were attentive, yet they seemed to be doing other things besides serving. The lunch was really good, but the service was a little slow. I asked for another napkin, and after 5 minutes, I took one from the next table.
Great Sunday Brunch! Brought my son and three buddies as they've just moved into their off-campus apartment. Brunch menu was diverse and very well received. Service was great ... waitress and manager were involved. Steak frites were a hit ... as were the sticky buns and the burgers. Something for everyone. Try the chicken-fried bacon ... must try!
I have dined at Autograph twice in the last two weeks. They were not busy. The people at the desk were not friendly and honestly you would think they were solving the world's problems as they stared at the computer just to put us at a table. The food was good, not overwhelming and the waitress was adequate and quite robotic. As they are in a great area they will stay busy. I will not rush back.
My experience at Autograph was outstanding! The service, ambiance and food/drinks were fabulous!
My husband and I enjoyed our dinner very much. We both tend to eat vegetarian most of the time and the one vegetarian item ( other than salad ) that they had on the dinner menu was actually excellent.
Awesome food, service, ambiance, drinks!!!!! We visit often and look forward to many more visits. A true gem.
Not so good. Food is not worth the cost. We have been several times but I think it’s off our list
Really enjoyed "Cauliflower Steak". Unusual really good vegan option & I don't like cauliflower usually. Food was really good & they have booths that are literally like your own little room so that was nice/quiet/private. Good specialty drinks. "lighter portions" of things available so I had lighter portion off gnocchi & a salad...just heavy enuf for dinner. So, can get a tappas kind of situation if want. Desserts limited but delicious. Only downside was cost of specials....make sure you ask. Regular dinner options are standard for nice Mainline restaurant $15-$20-$25 entree's 8-15 desserts/appetizers/drinks. But ordered broiled scallop special & it was $36. I was floored...wasn't any different than any other tastey broiled scallop dish I've gotten hundreds of times other places in the $20ish range assumed would be around there. So, ask before you order the specials. Staff well trained/attentive/unobtrusive. Would go again, but I'd ask about the cost of the specials. Business casual dress....off times nice jeans/shirt. More peak hours no jeans. Pants & button down would be fine; but ties/dresses not out of place either if you are on a fancier date etc..for prime time dinner. Never sweats/yoga pants/sneakers.
Excellent food. Creative and interesting combinations of flavors. Beautifully presented. Not cheap, but not outrageous. Service was extremely attentive, possibly a bit too enthusiastic, but better that than being ignored. Highly recommend this restaurant.
To celebrate husband's birthday w/family from Vermont we chose Autograph after having just celebrated my own birthday there the week before. They remembered us and the hostess and server were wonderfully welcoming. Food is very good quality and well prepared and plated. I cannot begin to list all the fine items on the menu, as the lobster toast as a beginning or entire meal is so fantastic!!!!
The soups are delicious and the fish is beautifully prepared and delicious. (I think these words are getting overused in this review, so I shall quit now😀) Enjoy !!!!
I went for the first time for brunch and really enjoyed it! I started with the monkey bread and had the summer stone salad as my entree, both were delicious! They offer bottomless non-specialty brunch cocktails for $14, which is a pretty rare find for the area. I will definitely be back!
Beautiful outdoor patio. Wasn’t a busy night so it was quiet and romantic🤩
The grilled stone fruit salad was very good, even though the stone fruits were not grilled.
The lobster fettuccine swimming in cream sauce. It is supposed to be a rich dish, but the amount of sauce resembled what come out of cheap Chinese restaurants. The pasta was not that good either.
We had two orders of grilled octopus. The first one was served with roasted fingerling potatoes. By the time the second order came, the potatoes were not roasted. Both orders were serve with large amounts of aioli, as it is were a sauce. Aiolis a spicy mayo, so a little goes a long way, The octopus itself did not taste as if it had cooked with the other ingredients. The overall impression is that the grilled octopus appetizer was more of an assembly dish than prepared with the time to make it tasty.
The burger and chicken were well prepared.
Overall, even though service was good and the decor pleasant, at the price point that Autograph Brasserie commands, much more attention needs to be given to the food. There is quite some room for improvement.
We always enjoy coming to this restaurant . The service is great and food is always consistently good
I’ve eaten at a lot of nice restaurants and this was quite possibly the best dining experience ive ever had. I requested they simply write happy anniversary on my wife’s dessert. After being greeted by the manager with a hand written card, I think every staff member came to our table to say happy anniversary throughout the night. The food, drinks and ambiance were just as good as the service. We will be back for sure!
We've been to this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. Beautiful looking and the food is delicious.
I highly recommend.
The service should be better given the quality of the restaurant. The food is good. Except for the kid’s chicken fingers; too crunchy for kids. I bought three kids meals and my kids could not eat the chicken. They did not offer to comp any of it. A restaurant worth its salt would offer to comp inedible for kids, kid’s food.
My husband and I went to Autograph for my birthday dinner. I'd heard good things about the place. It was delicious! Everything we had was super tasty. I would 100% recommend this restaurant. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes!
I was disappointed in the lack of friendliness, attention and warmth from the servers. Their facial expressions were grumpy and miserable. The food was mediocre; the greens looked old and wilted with no dressing on it at all. The omelette was ok. But most annoying of all was that the coffee was lukewarm. When I told the server that, he returned with another lukewarm cup of coffee and never came back to check on this new cup again. I won't be returning to this restaurant again...very disappointed!!
Lovely day for outdoor garden dining. The greenery was in perfect bloom, the food was light and delicious, resulting in a wonderful luncheon dining experience.
Great time. Our server was excellent. Very attentive. The food was delicious. Love the roasted chicken!
Amazing decor and food
Easily one of my favorite brunch spots in the area! Bottomless mimosas on Sunday’s!
We were in town for a friends Mom's funeral :-( so Autograph was a great place to lighten the mood and enjoy great food and drinks with friends. The decor and vibe in the restaurant is very cool and fun. The waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting items from the menu. We had a great experience.
Having traveled to other countries and tasted many cuisines, Autograph does a good job with its menu. The beef, crab cakes, and burger were well done; however, the salmon was a bit dry. Our server was attentive without being intrusive.
When being greeted and sharing our reservation we asked for a table as we had a 4 month old baby with us. The hostess questioned me several times about having a high chair brought to a booth. I had to request several times a table to which we were finally seated. I felt irritated by this exchange as we were celebrating our daughter and son-in-law's anniversary. Also, as we had our grandson with us, and were taking our time eating, the waitstaff took my plate without asking before I was finished. I had only eaten half of my meal.
